Providers aren’t dropping their rates because there’s no reason to. If and when we can’t make it work with what we’re charging then and only then donations will drop. But for now, nobody here seems to be hurting and so donations will probably stay the same for the foreseeable future.

If a provider was 2.5 a year ago and is now 4.0 or more, as long as she maintains the level of revenue stream she needs/desires, she'll likely never go back to 2.5.

My opinion also. Only 13 months ago there were many $200-250 very good providers. Now it is rare. And the number of ripoffs are rising.

I do agree with what she is saying.
Dallas providers typically charge less because of the amt of competition.

And supply and demand plays a part.

Just a slight comparison to the auto market.
You arent seeing discounts on new cars because inventory is low and what they do have in most cases now is selling before it arrives.
So manufacturers say why discount when I dont have much of it and demand is high

As another view on the subject: I remember a long talk with Cal Holiday back in about 2016, after she left KC Escort. She talked about the need to keep her prices higher to eliminate the rough guys that couldn't afford her higher prices: there was just a nicer, kinder, type of guy that paid her higher prices. There were fewer customers, but a lot less work with about the same pay.

Something to think about. I liked her, but she seems to have left the hobby and moved on to other things.
