One does love one's Che' and the long, hot , hard , cigar!

And some does love the HI M with little hands and... got to give him credit for getting someone else to pay 100k to a porn star for not publically saying that and he's a lousy lay. I guess as long as some are drinking the "milk" from the tap he's doing ok.

His hair was long and greasy, she said; his clothes so dirty that they might have belonged to a mechanic. And he said nothing, she recalled, when she brought him a bowl of soup not long before the bullets rang out. Che Guevara was dead.

Eccieuser,

The narrator fails to note tinpot dictators like Batista were a dime a dozen in Latin America in the 1950’s and before. But now the region is Democratic with a few exceptions. Like Venezuela, Cuba, and Nicaragua. Which share what? Well, the legacy of Castro’s influence.

If you go to Cuba you’ll see Che’s face plastered everywhere. Not so much Castro’s. The ideal is so much better than reality.

Cuba could be like Panama or Costa Rica today but it’s not. It’s a shit hole. Perhaps the 2nd worst shithole in the Western Hemisphere.

I bought into the idea that the health care and educational system in Cuba were good for a 3rd world country, , even after my hypothetical trip to Cuba, which I never made. Well if those were actually ever decent, they’re not now. Talk to the Cuban strippers. They’re not the brightest bulbs on the planet, even the ones who purport to be engineers and the like. And they can give you the lowdown on the healthcare system, which sucks.

Tiny,

What is the antithesis of crony Capitalism? I have no punchline except profit-seeking Socialists. Rendering them Capitalists.

Utopian? Idealistic?

Maybe?

Kim Jong Il was such a great leader, I have never seen such an amazing man with my own eyes. I cried when I found out he had passed.
