Serious Question,
When the Great Donald was on Twitter, on Fox, on whatever, lying and spreading propaganda left and right, not one person questioned his integrity, even knowing the things he said were so off the wall inaccurate....
Now Biden takes over and all I hear is, he said this, he said that. He didn't do this, or that, he lied to us.... therefor he is a failure.
Its literally been 30 days in office, you let the lies run rampant daily, hourly for the last 4 years with open arms....
Give the guy a chance to get the ball rolling FFS....

The jealousy of who gets what and i didn't get mine is so overpowering in USA its disgusting. This economy is a consumer economy, its based on what we spend our money on.
The great depression was caused by over producing the market and no one buying the products being produced, led to lay offs and bank runs. Was a huge cause and effect tidal wave....
We learned from history how to manipulate spending, how to get people back to work and the government is doing its job, now those with no clue can sit back, bitch about the things that don't matter to make their existence feel worthwhile.
|
If you think the legislators fought for those checks in the name of buying tvs youre sadly misinformed! It was for folks who lost their jobs during the pandemic. But instead of using that money for what it was purposed for they bought tvs and went to the beach. The term in this instance was a misnomer. It was purely financial aide!

The ORIGINAL loudmouth Birther.
That being said, NY Businessman Donald Trump and a bunch of angry Tea Party folks don't have the same power/reach/process as a bunch of furious establishment legislators when it comes to trying to remove a sitting president from office.

Biden has had forty seven years to get the ball rolling. The ball is deflated. Biden is all talk no action, always has been, always will be.

I have less than zero empathy for bartenders or strippers who make as you said $1000 on a weekend night and are still broke.
The entire industry outside of the corporate portions (and even then, they too) suffers from a tremendous amount of immaturity. It's high-risk, moderate reward from the top down, and all the employees try to act like rock stars, and they have the same odds at being wildly successful in that industry as becoming a rock star.
I believe Anthony Bourdain said something to the effect of "Hospitality is a vocation for 2nd or 3rd sons"

I was taught that the concept of "Sacrifice" in the religious sense was an allegory to explain the virtue of delaying immediate gratification for the hope of of even better gratification later.
I was also taught that money needs to do something, and it sitting in your account or your mattress is a waste of potential. The wealthiest people in the world are WORTH a lot of money, but they do not POSSESS a lot of money. They put that money to work.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not. I've had people on this board tell me I write gibberish.

I think this is a case of "turn around is fair play". They didn't give Trump a chance either and started fighting him before he even won. The Media and others went as far as being preposterously contrarian.

Trump led the birther movement...."the turnabout is fair play" bs should have been directed towards Trump, not in defense of.

Are you kidding me?
Trump was elected President by these same angry Tea Pots partly by the lies and misinformation spread on social media.
Once these people gained power...they tried to hang on to it by nullifying duely elected state delegates.
I'm sorry....I'm not buying your premise that one set of power hungry nuts are weaker than another.
Trump and his Merry band of TeaPits became exactly what they ridiculed.

How about "better positioned to do so" rather than stronger/weaker?
I'm not saying either side is necessarily better, I'm just stating that one side had better leverage during the two different points in time.

lets not forget History, The GOP in Obama's last 6 years made a pact to refuse any and all legislation that had any democratic ideals. They even used government shutdowns and forced the democrats to stop spending by refusing to allow the debt ceiling to increase, they did this every other month for the last few years........
The Conman gets elected, has a GOP controlled Congress, who immediately sets the debt ceiling so high, that it isnt discussed for nearly 4 years..... They allowed the Conman to destroy the USA's ability to collect revenue, allowed the Con to borrow more and more money when the economy was booming, Continued Quantitive Easing during boom times, giving the false sense of a growing economy and setting records on budget deficits.
How quickly you all forget how the GOP acted before Don the Con cheated his way into office.

so sad - to live a life of delusion and religiosity of the marxist idiotology.
And that Hatred of Trump still occupies teh 'minds' of the DPST mnions.
Look at Venezuela - but blind obedience to marxist idiotology prevents the deluded from recognizing FACTS and TRUTH!

How about the green jobs for the pipeline workers
They could have installed more windmills that froze in Texas
Come on, Man
