I dont agree with many of the assperts on covid. But I do follow the rules.
I do not go out in public except when necessary. I believe the more risks a person takes. The chances of catching it rises exponentially.

I'm a complete germ freak. I think I would spend more time cleaning machines than actually working out now. People would probably think that I was an employee just doing his job who likes to do squats and other workouts while on the clock.

How do you plan on wearing a mask while eating? You could have already caught the virus and don't know it.

You are a potential super spreader, my friend. I am not. The only difference between you and I is that I don't care what you do. It's up to you. If you want to spread COVID, I don't care. That's your choice, and those who participate in high risk activities also make that same choice.

I spend most of my days inside doing mostly nothing. You might tell by my post count.

As case counts went up more people wear a mask, but the numbers keep going up. Plus anytime I see the way people wear masks at least 50% don't wear them right. Plus they wear them too long, are careless in removal, and thus the masks do zero good for too many.
kOREA: restaurant had 52 guests test positive, not 1 server wearing a mask.... the doctors and nurses literally giving medical service to PEOPLE WITH COVID are going home and not testing positive for it... masks must be a lie

It depends on the type of mask, bf, and a whole list of other factors, such as how you wear the mask and so forth. We are saying that people who shout "Wear a mask!" are fucking stupid.

A surgical mask is most likely effective if done so while social distancing and while wearing it properly in a well ventilated area. Something like a KN95 mask will work better. A god damn bandana, less so.

The point is that wearing a random ass face covering is not going to protect you from COVID, and it may or may not protect others to a certain extent.

Like a lot of people wear masks with valves in them, which are essentially holes that you breathe out of, because they think it looks cool. It's basically just a fashion statement at that point, because it's not doing anything other than filtering dust particles. Some masks are made out of nylon and spandex. Those are just fashion statements, as well. They aren't going to do shit.

Either way, it doesn't matter to me. Do and believe what you want. I just don't like people ordering others around. Recommendations are good. Enforcing orders via the police, kind of lame. Majority of people follow the recommendations, anyway, even if they are wearing a bullshit mask or have it hanging off their face. They are after all, wearing a mask. I follow recommendations myself, I just don't believe in them 100% or in the government seizing power and forcefully shutting people down or making arrests, creating more problems in a lot of cases.

In all the restaurants I've been in recently, tables are a minimum 6 feet apart, usually more. I am doing what is suggested by medical experts when out among others -- wear a mask, social distance, use hand sanitizer. I find it somewhat ironic that you are chastising me for my behavior, and to a certain degree I agree with you, yet support Donald Trump who does nothing to prevent the spread of the virus when in public. He is the true "super spreader".

Being indoor without a mask like a restaurant is risky. You have the server and a/c ducts blowing potential particulates ! The more time spent in public the higher the risk!

I wear a cloth mask. When I breathe, and I breathe hard while at the gym, no air escapes from the sides. I can blow into the mask with all my force and I can feel no air coming through the mask. I would agree that something could make it through the mask but it certainly would not travel as far as if I was not wearing a mask. And when at the gym I try to stay as far away from other as possible. And I use hand sanitizer frequently while there. Rather easy to follow safety rules.

Masks are not perfect. As you said, they are about 65% effective. But I do believe that if the recommended safety precautions are followed, less people will be infected.
If masks were so effective we'd be over this by now. Go ahead and wear yours.

Not true. Not everyone follows the rules and the masks are not even close to 100% effective. Put those together and it equals slowing not prevention.

I'm only chastising you because of your holier than thou post about following CDC guidelines. I really don't care what you do. I just wanted to point out that I'm probably taking more precautions than you are. Perhaps I interpreted your post wrong, but many are a-holes about the mask and social distancing thing. I just want to point out that I do both, but I am not a lockdown lover.

I support H I M because H I M is fighting for our freedom and liberty. I don't want people to be forced to wear masks or to be locked up while the politicians can do whatever they want. It's fucked up.

You are being exposed to various types of bacteria and viruses all the time. The environment isn't free of these pathogens just because you don't come down with an illness associated with them. That's the beauty of the Immune System, it's quite sophisticated. Now there's nothing wrong with taking precautionary measures but this Pandemic has turned more people into neurotic germophobes.

If you rarely leave your home then you definitely take more precautions than I do. Today I went to the gym, a food store, Just-Mail-It, and Home Depot. Wore a mask at all times and practiced social distancing as much as possible. Risky behavior? I don't think so but I ceertainly put myself in a riskier situation than staying at home.

I just do what the experts say to do. They know a lot more than I do so I just listen to them. If Trump's stupid ass thought like most with half a brain, he would have been reelected.

I have no problem with anyone going against the grain until people start dying because of your pure stupidity and the leader of this country.
