Just to be exactly clear and accurate - ain't nobody but the IRS that has the ability to decide if anyone is correct or not on their filed tax returns. At that, it is also an iterative process and is often negotiated (questions are raised, answers are given - rinse and repeat.) and sometimes litigated and none of us are parties to any of those proceedings.

Let's be abundantly clear. Shall we? You make it sound as though Trump rolls up his sleeves, puts on a green visor, lights a candle or burns the midnight oil and bangs out his tax returns one fine evening then submits his 1040-EZ form on the back of a postcard. Either that or he spends thousands of dollars (likely 10's of thousands) to hire an army of accountants, who spends weeks and months putting his 200+ page tax return together. BTW: those same accountants, plus a few extra would also get paid in case of an audit to represent how every "challenged" item on the tax return came into existence and why they, themselves, thought they were relevant.

So I totally get that your simple minded view of the world is based entirely upon your own simple existence and that's fair. But the real world, especially involving taxes, international business, real estate, accountants and government tax collectors is not as simple as you.
