Murray is gone at his asking price and, if Mario doesn't save him, I'd look for Letang to get traded. Sid and Geno will be pens until they don't want to be but I'd assume every other moving part without a NMC is up for grabs.

How pissed off would the hockey world be if Edmonton wins the lottery again? Them and Pittsburgh would upset fans in the league the most. God will not pity Eichel with much needed help anytime soon.

Sadly, the window is about closed. One reporter noted that Montreal is much younger and had more jump. Hate to admit it, but a re-tooling may be in order.

I'm an avid Penguins fan and even I admit that PGH is a favorite to Gary Bettman and the NHL. We've been the golden-boys (by hook or by crook) ever since Mario was drafted. I don't believe it's an accident that we got the 8 PM spot for the qualifier round and so many prime time NBC games. The Penguins put butts in the seats and eyes on the advertisements which is good for the NHL coffers.
It will be embarrassing if PGH wins the #1 draft pick lottery because it feels so blatantly obvious.
...or maybe Sid's superstition is paying off? hahaha man, that guy, huh?
