well, just make sure its an outdoors cat rather than an indoors cat. a street smart cat, if its a mean one, will take care of your dog!

About 2 years ago, there was a mussy neighbors cat that was very friendly with us. my 2 dogs didn't like him. he would tease them by showing up at the fence licking his paws. other times, hed be walking on top of the fence. other times, he was in our yard prowling in the garden, the dogs would try to chase him, no dice. he was too fast.

I haven't seen the cat since the mussy family moved.

She's a German Shepherd. She's a great dog with people she knows, but she really is a mean bitch. I warn people not to pet her unless I introduce them to her or she will bite their arm off if I don't do so. The funny thing is they think I am joking. For liability concerns, I usually just lock her up in a room when I have guests over.

She loves to leave her kills in front of the backyard door. The one that disturbed me the most was my neighbor's pet rabbit. I didn't have the heart to tell the kid when she was knocking on doors asking whether anyone has seen her rabbit that I knew exactly where it was because I just put the dead body in a trash bag. I felt bad because I was an accomplice to a serial animal killer.

well, the dog I have is a mixed breed german shepard/coyote.

she is very mean with small dogs (rabbit sized). tried to kill 2 small dogs we babysat for a neighbor.

she has something of a split personality. she runs and hides as if she did something wrong. she barks when theres possible intruder who's a guest at the door. other times she doesn't bark when someone's at the door.

I laugh about my dog because she is so sweet, but she can be so evil. If an animal is roughly 40 lbs or less, she just kills them for no reason. She's a purebred and I have papers on her, but there is definitely something off with her temperament.

I had a buddy of mine that she is cool with and I told him what a mean bitch she is. He didn't believe me. I told him to fake punch me and he would understand. Again, these people think that I am joking. My serial killer ran like a fucking cheetah to attack his ass. She takes commands well so I just yelled "stop it" and it was over. Otherwise, she would have sent that dude to the hospital. He was a good sport about it and I simply asked him if he wanted another beer.

Huh? You bumped this thread for those words of wisdom to nobody but yourself?

I think talking about my serial killer dog and Dilbert's feral cats and his dog was a lot more productive. At the very least, people actually knew what the fuck we were discussing.
