The IRS already knows what’s in the returns. Why wasn’t he arrested years ago for tax issues? Trumps tax preparers are most likely very smart.,I doubt very much they would put themselves in legal jeopardy for anyone, including Trump.

I don't think there is anything illegal there, it's a question of ties to Russia or other "suspect" business involvements. that's what makes it so queer, that Trump would be so guarded about the information.. no other President in history has clutched past returns so tightly.


granted, nothing good can come from releasing the returns. they will reveal something negative, be it big economic losses, questionable transactions (like that sudden $5 million in interest received, back around 1994), or, like with Beto, measly Charity/Church contributions, vis-a-vis income reported.
