Given Facebook's known penchant for privacy violations, I think any provider or hobbyist who goes there with any real-life information is asking for trouble. I've never been tempted to Twitter (I'm not a twit, in spite of what most of you probably think of me ), Instagram (a Facebook product now, so it's as suspect in my mind as Facebook is), Snapchat, or any other social media. OK if it works for you, but I strongly advise either not using any of them for hobby purposes, or if you must, making sure that all the information you give those sites have no connection with your Real Life. As a general rule I won't trust social media as far as I can throw my house.
