It was all a cover for the involvement of gun running to the cartels in Mexico from our govnt! Think about it! The Andrea Yates case was far mor gruesome but hardly this much coverage. They have been hyping this case from the beginning. National coverage to feed the mass to be pissed at something and not see the bottom line ticker go by and see what our tax dollars are really doing! That's the real BS! my .02.

I am most upset that our system even brought this case to trial like this. Their evidence was crap. It is a tremendous lack of justice for that precious little girl.

That is why this case shows the system DOES WORK.

IMO this prosecution was brought for political reasons with the belief that the emotional reaction to the disposition of the child would convict mom.

Two sorry-ass reasons to prosecute any one. Even "Jack-the-Ripper."

I didn't watch it a whole lot....but I didn't see where the prosecution produced a witness, fingerprints, DNA, really anything. They had a body that was probably moved numerous times, had a family that is obviously hiding something, and a really poor prosecution team.

Hell, if anyone who is screaming about this were dragged into court and charged with anything when there was no witness against them, or anything absolutely proving their guilt, they would be screaming that the system is supposed to be based on the idea of being "INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY". Just sayin........
