I'm sure Trump supporters will be crowing over the 2018 GDP, which is predicted to be 3.1%, better than any GDP while Obama was in office.

Yes, employment figures under Trump have continued their downward trend and are excellent. Wage growth is also doing very well. However, real wage growth is actually falling due to the inflation rate. Cost of living rose an estimated 2.7% in 2018. Remember the tax reform package that took affect in 2018? People at the middle of the middle income bracket got a 1.6% increase in their net income, so inflation was greater than their net income increase.

Sometimes I agree with TM and sometimes I don't. In this case I agree. Let's wait until election time 2020 to fully assess Trump's impact on the economy.
