Coyote Ugly was a piece of crap movie.....but it was an awful lotta fun watching hotttt girls dance on the bar, right?

And not doubt, the 22 year old (at the time of shooting) Piper Perabo was (and yeah...still is) totally fuckable.

Still....kinda funny she was escorted out of the Kavanaugh hearings yesterday.....maybe she's just prepping for a new role / movie, who knows...?

Once again, the Democrats are being lumped together.

Instead of complaining and insulting another group of people, why don't many of you give examples of what bothers you about a certain someone.

Some of you do that. Most do not.

People (alright, liberals) need to get a grip about this one nomination. The man is a constitutional scholar, from what I've read. He is very, to say the very least, exceptionally literate and even minded like all of those judges have to be (or should be).

So what if he's a Republican. He'll be fine.

Like anything else in life, people need to learn to pick their battles. I'm not overly thrilled to have another conservative on the Supreme Court, but get real.

It's the time that we're living in. One could have picked someone worse.

Sorry fellow liberals. This issue isn't worth fussing over. Not when there are other issues more pressing at the time.

My opinion, only.

Yes to your first point, Elizabeth.

However, the notion that this guy should be confirmed without providing committee members and the public to review the evidence is dangerous.

Certainly, I expect his nomination to be approved, so why are the Republicans trying to hard to railroad it, especially after the way they obstructed the Garland nomination.

It shouldn’t be partisan, but it is. And I believe it’s definitely worth fussing over.

The liberals are crying foul but it was under Obama administration and Harry Reid that moved the goal post to the simple majority for supreme justice confirmation

I’m not crying foul. Are you, Elizabeth?

Seems like the whining is coming from the Senate Republicans.

If the Rs were so confident with their majority in the Senate, then why did they stonewall Garland? Moreover, why shouldn’t they expect Kavanaugh’s nomination to receive the same level of scrutiny other nominees have received?

Can’t have it both ways.

Wouldn't it have just been easier to have NOT let them in, in the first place?

In most instances by the time a lawyer spends some time on a Federal appellate court bench they have a pretty good working knowledge of the U.S. Constitution and the historical interpretations of it as applied to the facts of cases they review. This one is more of a "strict constructionist," which is really consistent with the best interests of all CITIZENS and even those NONCITIZENS, who the liberals want to enshrine with the same rights as those persons legally in this country.

The original purpose of the Constitution and the subsequent amendments was to carve out the powers of the branches of government in order to protect "Joe and Mary Citizens" from government fucking with them and to confirm some God approved rights so government wouldn't infringe on those. In other words to RESTRICT the authority of the government over the inhabitants of the USA. That's contradictory to the LIBERAL perspective, which is that the inhabitants are weak and stupid, so government needs to coddle them, control them, and dole out the riches in the country to them. The folks who crafted the documents had just been through that shit, and that's why they came here.

Most all of those people sneaking into this country are "fleeing" just that kind of system, but they think that's the "Great American Dream," which it's not. It's really their nightmare, but they have been "hoodwinked" into believing otherwise, and the shit scared out of them about the current administration that is trying to get government out of their pockets and lives.

Here's an example of the deception: The allegation that ICE is "tearing" their children from their arms. Wait until they meet the "child protective services" caseworker! Another Liberal dream come true!!!!!
