I was once talking to a Hooters girl, about politics. She had very strong opinions, and considered herself "well informed". She liked talking with me(I was a pseudo regular).
She was going on a rant about the Koch brothers.
I asked her about Soros. She said "who is that". She had no idea who he was, yet he funded some of the organizations she worked with.
The Koch brothers earned their money by being productive.
Soros stole his, mainly through extortion, some by insider trading.
The differences between those two entities are stark. Soros is a fascist(not a label, but a descriptor).

The Koch brothers have been pilloried in the press for having a stance that the government is too big, and people ought to take care of themselves if possible.
Soros is rarely mentioned, and always in obtuse ways. The destruction to civil society that he has foisted on this world is immeasurable.
When I lived in Louisiana, Soros funded ads showing republicans pushing wheel chaired old people off cliffs. This was in 1996, prior to the Kochs being heavily involved in Politics. The Kochs got involved because of him and people like him. He is a disgusting fascists. That is a fact, and it is not in dispute.

What I find interesting is the Koch Bros. were prepared to support any Republican Candidate other than Donald Trump in the 2016 election. Apparently they felt they couldn't buy Trump or profit from his Candidacy, or maybe not. Both parties have their political agendas and they depend upon big money to achieve their objectives. The Koch Bros. are to the Republican party as what Soros is to the Democratic party. That's really all it boils down too.
