Oh and I will not do things the same way as other pilots because change is needed. You're not staying on that plane. This guy could crash the country and you want people to be happy with that.
You still don't get it. Government depends on the private sector for its sustenance, not vice versa. In the private economy, people are held accountable by market forces. If they don't deliver quality goods or services that are in demand, they are punished by competitors and the marketplace. Sales go down, and businesses are forced to adjust. Contrast that with government bureaucracies that keep growing and perpetuating themselves long after their original mission is over. When government fails, they blame insufficient funding. Then they seek to be REWARDED for their failures with even MORE taxpayer money! That's insane!

Someone with a business background - especially one who popularized the phrase "You're fired!" - is perfectly equipped to lay down the boom and make government smaller and more accountable. That's what is needed to keep the plane and the country from crashing. What you call "experience" is merely an excuse for the political class to perpetuate itself.

No you still don't get it. Talking to a Trump person is something else. I just said that private sector jobs were up under Obama as compared to Bush. So why are you talking about private sector jobs still? And mentioning taxpayer money, hilarious. The same taxpayer money going toward a possible wall? That wall that was going to be paid my Mexico or will down the road with tariffs. But then you can't really call that recouping the money when Mexico will just raise tariffs also and so it's now a trade war to get money for a wall that he promised would be paid by Mexico but couldn't deliver. As for his business background, that's a little shaky. He didn't use business acumen to make money. He is definitely a good marketer and personality and he used that to license his name. I give him that. As for the government, we shall see. Trump hasn't really said which of the many promises he made will be kept. And many of the cabinet appointments go against his ideas and against the Republican party. He wants to keep Planned Parenthood (Republicans don't), he's a climate change denier (Tillerman isn't), he promised to do away with TPP (a lot of his cabinet like it), etc. etc. Oh and that guy who will make people accountable hasn't made his cabinet picks comply with the ethics department so that they can be vetted and confirmed. So who knows what he will do. That's a plane you want to be on? Yeah there's some negatives to having people in government forever. This whole swamp thing. But that also gives you a voting record to know what they will do. They also would know the basic things that Trump didn't know and hasn't really bothered to learn. They would probably take the daily briefing, now matter if it seemed repetitive. They probably would have known, unlike Trump, that he had to staff the White House. The guy thought that all of the people outside of his cabinet picks would stay. For all the bad, there's the good. And that good is highlighted when looking at Trump. But hey people love stopping to see the wreckage. Too bad it's going to be a lot of his voters in that plane.

That's cool. But he doesn't speak for the entire military. And he doesn't speak for the entire population. That's just one guys opinion and I respect his service but that doesn't mean his thoughts mean more than every other American.

For once I agree with you. The federal government, in my opinion, is bloated with people in do-nothing jobs which could easily be eliminated without hurting the functioning of the government. Where we differ is as to whether or not Trump will do ANYTHING to lower federal government employment. So many jobs, not just in the government, are hard to judge as to accountability. I started my career as a computer programmer. How do you define success or failure in such a job? Lines of code written? It will be interesting to see what steps Trump takes in this area. Won't be easy.

Your last sentence is being targeted in one way by Trump via term limits for Congress. I think almost everyone sees that as a positive. Odds of it happening? Minimal in my opinion if you are depending on Congress to vote themselves out of a job.

As far as his business - I don't see the problem you are referring too. And that last sentence you wrote is just plain idiotic.
I'm actually surprised that I haven't eye rolled myself into another dimension yet when I read your statements. It's clear to me that you are still pissed off that Trump won. But as Biden said to to Congress - It's over.
Veterans: You don't have a problem with him insulting POW 's or Gold Star families?

Jobs: Do you think coal jobs are ever coming back? Or have a problem with him claiming responsibility for job creation that he had nothing to do with?

His business: You don't see a problem with him not divesting himself of it or having his daughter (current CEO) sit in on his meetings with foreign dignitaries?

Russia: You don't have a problem with him kissing Putin's ass, or talking about pulling out of NATO, or the allegations that Russians influenced our elections and possibly have blackmail dirt on him?

Character: Lol. Racist, Islamaphobic, pussy grabbing sexist, Gold Star/POW insulting, revenge seeking, Twitter ranting narcissist. All what I want to see in my President. /s

Also, it isn't over. I'll be shocked if he lasts more than a year. Of course, then we get Pence...

Why not save your breath on all those "-ists" and just call him deplorable?

And seriously, where do you find the chutzpah to bring up "character" when the alternative was hildebeest?
