Sure! Why not? To pass judgement on someone's for what they have done, or what they do is only to pass judgement on yourself...... I mean... we're all here on this board aren't we? I think there are more underlying issues that could be very detremental (obviously)...... but it would certainly take a very special relationship in order for both to continue on with the hobby while staying together....... all it takes is one to not be ok with it, and things go sideways fast...... But 'dating' and going to 'the next level' are also two very different things......

I absolutely would, wouldn't care one iota if she continued providing (or even just went out and had sex with random strangers) and would quit the hobby if she wanted me to. But then I don't have whatever it is that causes jealousy.

You sure about that? If she went out and had sex with random strangers....AND you didn't know about it beforehand? Or she lied to you about what she was doing during that time and you just found out later? I have no problem sharing, but she better be up front and honest about it, thats how you build up that pesky trust thing! Theres a reason I'm single!

I agree with Chica about her telling me she's going to work. This is what a relationship is about. Most SO's knows where the other one is most or all the time. I don't know of one relationship where the SO isn't texting or calling several times a day just to check-in and see how there day is going.

If so, I would stop seeing escorts. Whether the lady would continue providing would be up to her (I would assume that she likely would). I would not have a problem with it as long as I felt that she was not getting emotionally attached to other clients.

I never had it happen but certainly not opposed to it.

As for asking her to stop, no I wouldn't ask. If she wanted to stop that would be her choice not mine. Her attitude would have to be the same towards me or it just wouldn't work.

I cannot grasp the idea that a person you're dating, living together, married, etc. becomes a possession. I think if the couple are truly in love and in a workable relationship, then the possessive demands or jealousy really shouldn't ever enter the picture. Yes, I realize that is a very idealistic statement.

If my fictional lady wanted to continue providing I would be much more concerned with her safety than who she's f*cking. So, the truth is I may not really handle it as well as I would like to think I would.

I have met a few lady's that I am very attracted to, and thought about the possibilities. I have yet to have a lady who showed any real interest in taking it further than a friendship or client/provider arrangement.

I will say there is one lady I have not seen in quite some time that I really began to develop deeper feelings for, and if it were possible, I would try to make it work with her. I also realize the feeling is not mutual so there's no point in pursuing her. I find it very difficult to see her as a client now but its not because she's seeing other men.

I guess we all have that happen at one time or another. Venturing down that path can be a slippery slope and sure can result in a crash at the end.

But, thats true of any relationship, no matter what our past or present activities are.

Yeah, actually, I'm pretty sure. I don't have the monogamy gene in me. If she has an itch I can't scratch, by all means go out and scratch it. I strongly believe in the adage "If you love something, set it free."
Ok, the lying would bother me some.
Caveat: I've yet to come across this in any of my relationships, so it's quite possible I'm full of shit. But I've thought about it quite a bit.
