Very surprised no one has mentioned The Eagles. They never recorded a bad song..

Just please do NOT say Justin (lezbo look-alike) Bieber!

I agree with PSD. Any mention of Bieber should immediately close this thread.

By the way, I like Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Best British Sounding Group that really isn't British in the biz.

I don't think anyone has actually answered this

That tells you how bad the current rock scene is.

Journey is my favorite, Def Leppard, Metallica and Guns and Roses coming in close 2nds. I don't listen to today's rock.

So how many of you actually saw some of these bands live? In the late 60's and 70's? I was honored to see these bands, all before 1975:

The Doors (Jim actually behaved)
Led Zep
Rolling Stones
Grateful Dead (when they had the wall of 500 speakers behind them)
Eagles (at my college, helped set up as a roadie)
Allman Brothers (before Duane and Berry Oakley were killed on their cycles)
Lynyrd Skynyrd (before the plane crash)
Yes (the original guys)

My only regret was not seeing Pink Floyd and Bob Dylan with The Band as backup. Was offered tickets, couldn't go.

Anybody like 311?

Speaking of the Toadies I just bought my ticket to go see them on Greenville Avenue at the St Patrick's Day Parade. Tickets are $ 10 bucks but better by them fast,
