It was more directed at some recent events and how they correlated to a directive stated by St. Chris. And to the mods credit, they did address nearly all of the issues save the edited post but that was more than I expected.

I view this particular point as an optimum location to loop this thread into FiH's thread about just getting along. This discussion has taken a turn into what I think is one of the main reasons we can't seem to be able to "just get along."

I think it would make life easier for those who wanted to participate in multiple threads that have - for whatever reason - evolved along a similar line.... It would be nice if there was a way to do that. Maybe a "switch" could get flipped someplace that would enable/simplify cross-quoting between two threads....something.....

BP, I agree with you for the most part. I think it's a little goofy to get too upset by threADs. Some mild annoyance is normal. You roll your eyes & move on.

I completely agree with that! The donks I identify with here...hell, I can talk to them anywhere! Finding sexy womenz that will put up with my nonsense...that's a lot tougher!

But, strangely enough, that's one of the reasons I can't agree with the previous statement 100%. There's, at least, a couple of schools of thought. One is "calling out" the gals who make an "excessive amount" (whatever the hell that # is!) of threAD posts drives sexy womenz away. The other is allowing "excessive amount" (see disclaimer, supra) drives other sexy womenz away. And then, there's the notion that not all the sexy womenz are permitted to post threADs to the same degree drives still more sexy womenz away. Okay...maybe that's, at least, three schools...or 2a & 2b...whatever...I hope you see where I was going with this before I got distracted by the epistemology of it all...

Anyway, point being, the best way to maximize the number of sexy womenz who participate here is a subject a LOT of the fellaz are gonna be passionate about. Throw in the odd suspicion...if not outright accusation...of bad faith on the part of those who are, theoretically, supposed to keep the playing field level... Powder keg....

I haven't even gotten to the notion of disagreements on what's sexy (or who IS a woman) & I'm already reaching for the aspirin bottle....

There you go....already a bone of contention. ClassySex never really bothered me with her "look at me" posts. She was good for as many belly laughs (albeit, perhaps not for the reason she intended) as eye rolls here. If I was in the mood for a puzzle, I might actually invest 10 minutes in trying to figure out one of her threAD posts. But, that's just me. I'm sure I'm the outlier in that regard.

I have no idea how many guys are active here...call it "n".... I would hazard a guess that maybe 2 of them would agree on exactly how much "look at me" is too much...

So, that gives us n-1 opinions on a "hot button" topic. Therefore, we get what we get every time the subject comes up.

Fair enough, now in your life long pursuit of girl goodness, have you ever noticed that some of women we love are a little ate up with unfairness? Carkiddo is not the normal wagon someone as bright as you would hitch their wagon to, but that's your call my friend. I know deerhunter rattled your cage, but the truth is and you know this if we are being truly honest and straight forward, he helps the board and the community more than most.

Normally at this point we would ask you to quantify the amount of harm you have endured but that again would be silly...
