You must be staying in fantasy land this week. Palin has a 70% track record on picking and supporting candidates. That's better than Karl Rove. McSally, Ernst, Love are just a few of the women she has supported and they got elected. I think you need to read Joel Pollack's column on Palin. The Tea Party is not a complete conservative moment. I was there during the first rallies. The Tea Party was made up of conservatives, classic liberals, libertarians, and people who had never voted before. We were all angry with the way that government (democrat and republican) had been treating our country and us. At the Liberty Memorial we even had a GOP politician get out front to make a speech and he got booed off the podium. Sarah Palin is Tea Party and not conservative. The very fact that you believe she is rebounds to the power of the media to tag someone with a label.

That's such a stupid fucking statistic that OF COURSE you cited it.
Unlike Karl Rove, she doesn't get involved in a large number of races. She cherry picks a small number where the candidates already are heavily favored to win. And she still only gets 70%. Maybe 90% of those candidates would have won if she hadn't shown up.
Has she ever gotten into a race where the Tea Party candidate was losing badly and she turned the tide? I think not.
