And we worry about a closed DM thread. Like she will sulk and never open another one. Only thing I can envision causing that would be if the massive chip she grows daily breaks her shoulder. Even then one handed typing would just slow her down only.

That is not the point, once a modtard gets away with closing some threads they start doing it a lot more, and more. It does not matter who started the thread. Thinck about at your work, whatever it may be, once a manager starts changing established policies and procedures that manager will start doing it more ... Before you know it everyone's asses are exposed when upper management rolls in and wonders why policies are not being followed.
