In light of the events today in Paris - It is irrelevant to me where these comments were made. On eccie or to my face. Matters not. It isn't funny and being a dumbass kid does not give you a free pass.

Whispers - Stop making it ALL about 'providers getting their due because they didn't screen properly' - and the integrity of providers for outing clients. You are resorting to lame scenarios that don't even compare to this situation and you are publicly bullying a member of this site (mob mentality, at play?) and coming very close to defaming his character and qualifications as an attorney (Yes, I know him and have for many years). If you wanted a fair discussion - you would have done it in a PM - perhaps you loathe the fact that he garnered some attention and a bit of *gasp* popularity because of his posts?

IF you had honest-to-God given a shit about the unfairness of a 'Mob Mentality' or truly had a concern about someone being 'outed' - you would have chimed in during the original Alerts thread.

Your consistent pattern is to act like the 'Grand Poobah' and garner ALL the attention for yourself. As long as you can steer the discussion and misrepresent other's comments, then you are all over an 'issue'.

Yet, if you have to share the attention w/ any man that isn't a member of your 'Yes man club' then your benevolent concern for the burning issues that threaten our precious community seem to be, uh...Oh that's right, you just find another city to harass.



Lastly,this is where I will have to explain 'a figure of speech' and how it was used in the alerts thread. Accusations have been bandied about (by Whispers) that various eccie members were encouraging others to commit violence or 'retaliate' against this poor and now victimized lad.
I am first and foremost a US CITIZEN and though I do not believe in vigilante justice (although during my divorce it was a tempting proposition, but, I digress) I DO BELIEVE THAT WE ALL HAVE THE RIGHT AND RESPONSIBILITY TO ANSWER TO OUR CONSCIENCE.

If my neighbor was overheard making 'anti-American' violent threats and I knew they already had an assault charge, in their recent past I wouldn't NEED someone's permission to file anonymous report to the FBI or HLS.
The point being made to Stinky...er...Slinkky was that he himself had opened himself up to just that - that we, as patriotic Americans had the right to act on our conscience, if we felt his comments or behavior were a threat.

His behavior of theft +violent history+taunts+flagrant disrespect for women (and the men here)+ threats of violence combined w/ 'anti-american' rhetoric = Not your standard eccie hobbyist. He threw himself under the bus time and time again and it would be every providers/womans prerogative to protect other women from this man or others like him.

If you are not a ticking time-bomb/a threat/someone w/ a history of assault/a rapist/a complete sleazeball/a thief/ and the like, but, are a typical good guy like most on eccie, then please remember that we aren't out to 'out' you.

Two guideline reminders are in order:

#5 - Outing or threats of outing are taken seriously. Membership here is anonymous and for the privacy of our members it will remain that way. That means any effort or attempt to connect a person's real world information to their username on this board will be dealt with swiftly and harshly. This includes real names, employment, medical info, addresses past or present, images, criminal or driving record, etc. We expect everyone who participates here to respect and go to great lengths to protect the anonymity and privacy of one another. Reckless disregard or accidental outing will also be taken very seriously.

#7 - Threats of violence or physical harm will not be tolerated under any circumstances. There is no place for that on this board.

I do not believe any practicing Attorney would have involved himself in the manner he did without any facts to base it on. We disagree on what the "burning issues are". I think the issues between the ladies and the guy outed needed to be handled BY the ladies in a manner outside of the threads.... I believe the BURNING ISSUE is that personal information was too easily shared and misused by people that did not have any of the facts.....

All of your opinions... which were fed to "the lawyer"...... are based on 2nd hand information and the observation of how someone that was probably rather immature to begin with reacted to so much negative attention..... None of you, outside the couple of ladies, experienced any of those behaviors from the guy in person.
