@ Travelerman No Eccie doesn't provide us with anyinfo just your handle. And all the info that you would type on there could be fake anyways so that is why we screen! This thread isn't directed toward most of you gents...primarily, to newbies or those who think they're ENTITLED. Reviews that are listed on a profile...doesn't necessarily make a hobbyist REPUTABLE to meet.

Rocket...you have NO IDEA!! Imagine getting message after message...with sillyness like that. The ones I posted...are straight off of some of the PMs that I've received, and those are the nicer ones!

Then, GOD forbid you don't send them a reply! Then, they STALK you with nasty PMs! It's easy to say...just ignore them...but, it just gets TIRING to have to put up with such idiots, all the time! Makes me want to do some target practice! (lol)

Not sure why you're SHOUTING AT ME, (heh!) being that I'm simply asking for clarification, but, it's cool.... . I wasn't aware that you stopped after your 3rd date, so thank you for sharing that nugget of info But, putting the low-volume/3-appt matter aside,

I just wanted to say that this is from where some of the confusion stems.

Here you say, "TAKE THREE APPOINTMENTS A DAY BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 10 AND 9PM" , yet in your showcase it says 10am-7pm.

So, going strictly off of time frame you've given in this post, how likely would it be for one to fall into the 'irritating' category should they happen to repeatedly send a request for a date later than 7pm?

All I'm saying is that you can't expect us guys to color between the lines when the book keeps moving.

If you decide to shut the sugar-shack down at 7pm, 9pm, or after your 3rd appointment; that's fine. Just don't get irritated whenever you get requests between 7pm and 9pm because this falls within the time frame you've given.

I'm not trying to argue with you, Vinnie. I'm truly not. I'm just saying that confusion tends to make things irritating on everyone. So I'm just trying to clarify a few things. That's all.

Okay are we saying that a hobbyist can be on the board since the demise of aspd (3 years) post over 500 times and have 20 plus reviews , contact thru a pm and you still don't consider him verified? As for keeping information, couldn't you just keep a See List, just like your Do Not See List. I think maybe apples and oranges are being mixed. Huh?

Man I am confused on how to get verified. I guess each provider can be different on their requirements. Then I think what us different with the ladies I have seen with this discussion.

Should I be concerned on Vinny's commit about her computer? What could they keep that LE could use against us.

Travelerman, there should be no confusion...as long as you send the minimum screening information. Most hobbyists do without a hitch...however, there are some who just don't understand the concept of screening, so they make things difficult...just to be jerks.

As for information...any personal information kept about a hobbyist could be used against them...if a provider or agency gets busted. A provider should not save any personal infomation on a hobbyist...but, you would be surprised how many probably do.

That's why giving a reference for a hobbyist...we've only met once...after a period of six months or so later is difficult. It's difficult to remember the date...or much about the person after that length of time. That's why we specify...CURRENT and REPUTABLE provider references. Current, meaning...within the past few months. Unless we've met you several times...it's not easy to remember details.

Now this is where it gets tricky and becomes a catch 22 as far as "screening" in the hobby world "I" don't exists! The name, number, hell even down to the car I drove to see you in isn't mine. If your really smart p411, your handle, ISP etc still won't lead to me. So it's all just a waist of time and headache. All you have to do is just learn to protect yourself and have exits strategies in place. Cause it's not if a crazy walks in the door it's when...make sense?
