And most of their "compensation" structures have evolved into something that looks more capitalist than socialist:

There are now three kibbutz compensation models. 1) The traditional collective kibbutz, in which members are compensated equally, regardless of what work each member does; 2) the mixed model kibbutz, in which each member is given a small percentage of his salary along with a basic component given equally to all kibbutz members; and 3) the renewing kibbutz, in which a member's income consists solely of his individual income from his work and sometimes includes income from other kibbutz sources.

According to a survey conducted by the University of Haifa 188 of all kibbutzim (72%) are now converted to the "renewing kibbutz" model, which could be described as more individualistic kibbutz

So, does that make crime disappeare, no incest, no cheating, no adultery, no power hungry, no oppressed?

Sins Of The Flesh, you are awesome.
The OP is a cut and paste jobber, junior high intelec, but she might get there. Hopefully before she burns those B cells.
We as a country excel with our social/ economic/ ideal. Then the power hungry from both sides fuck the pig till its skinny.

And just remember we are not the best at democracy yet! There are countries that do better. Just can't let that hurt your pride cause " pride kills".
Equal education on basics to the 12th will help, if we can keep the politics out.
Every time I read what Sins writes at length, I think I "O" a little. She's just better then you pussy for a mind kind of guys, ha.

My mind just orgasmed a little. Yeah there's doctors, scientist, but also girls like Sins all around. Yeah.
But the OP is a cut and paste jobber. She has a ways to go. Hopefully she gets there before the B cells become to smokey.

Aww you guys make me blush

IB - did you know that More's work was not translated into English and published in England until decades after his execution? His work was very racy stuff for the time. Would you believe that Henry VIII considered himself a humanist as well during the early part of his reign? Sadly, he did not hold onto those principles very well over the course of his reign.

Still, More's work gave rise to the Utopian and Dystopian genres, and has provided political scientists and philosophers alike endless topics for debate for more than five centuries now.

That was noted in the introduction of the book, and the Tudors take up one full shelf in my library. Finished the The Battle of Bosworth by Michael Bennett last year.

Mmmmmm yum yum a man after my own heart. The English monarchy has always been a favorite area of study, and of course one cannot appreciate the English monarchy without studying the Tudor dynasty.

I don't suppose you ever watched the Showtime series The Tudors? I was pleasantly surprised by it. They mangle the timeline of Henry VIII's life pretty badly at times, but overall I thought it was very good.

SOTF is right. Many confuse utopian communism with its practice currently. There really isn't any communism or socialism in the world today. There is only freedom or tyranny.

North Korea is not communist, it is a tyranny. The same applies to many other countries. The more we turn over control to government, the more tyrannical the state.

You're getting paid to know about More?

What a taker!

BTW -- what is an "Assiciated Masters Degree?" Is that what you get after your GED?

At least you learned the preferred spelling for worshipping. Your Funk And Wagnalls needs upgrading, along with your Associated Masters Degree!

That might be the most unbelievable crock of shit I've ever heard you say after 13,000 posts.

Deb, can I tell you a secret? We're laughing at you (not with you) because what you said is so obvious to most people on this site.... let me give you an example. Several years ago a leader in PETA was on the radio. Her name was Robin Wright (not the actress) and she told the listening audience that when she was 15 years old she saw a pig on display (a small suckling pig) the same time that they were serving ham. Suddenly (?), it all became clear to her. Pigs were ham!

That is about how absurd your relevation is to most of the people on this board.

Sorry, nope his first sentence is correct. In the early church, followers were expected to sell all of their possessions and contribute all of the proceeds to the church. Read the book of Acts.

That IMHO was stating the obvious.

That was my point.
