Yeah the "tramp Stamp" on the lower back seems to be popular. A gal I knew had her dancers name on her lower back. Now she is stuck with the name Diamond on her back but no longer uses that name.

A lot of tattoos have a story to go with them and tends to give a person a little more idea about the person that got them..you might say it adds character to some people.
I dont mind tattoos as long as they are done with class but im not into having so many that it deflects from a persons beauty...sometimes too many or some on the face or neck can be distracting.
alot of tattoos are like scars - a story behind each one and its fun to ask and reflect on them.

I have had many opportunities to get a tattoo, (Vietnam, Germany, etc), in my younger years, but never did. For years, I was not a big fan of them.

Sarah's entire upper body is inked up, the first time I saw her some three years ago sort of took me back, but after that, I don't even notice them. She has had most of them her entire adult life, but has got a few since we met.

This is one of those cases where if you refused to see a Lady because of the ink, you would be missing out on a great time with a great Lady. But then, if a Hobbyist simply cannot get past the ink, that is one of the cold facts of life that every decision a person makes carries with them.

So Ladies, when you decide to sit down in that chair and get some serious decorating, try to take pause and think about 10 years down the road.

But you won't, will you?

To the guy who thinks it makes ladies look cheap? Well, sure, getting cheap tattoos will do that to ya.

A good tattoo harmonizes with your body.
To the gal that thinks staining intricate patterns
into her skin makes her prettier.
Perhaps you need something that you
just weren't born with; ah compensating I believe.
A woman of divine beauty needs nothing
on but a smile maybe the radio.
Marilyn Monroe with tats- barf anutha tramp

No graffiti on the flesh temple's please.

Botticelli's works are missing something?
In a word no.

Doesn't matter how much you paid for the ink.
Cheap in this case is a reference to character
not economics. I'm sure you threw alot of
money away on that shit. Seeing as it is a loss
no recoup possible- yeah I'd try and make
the most of it. Maybe sucker other people
into defacing and marring their hides too.
Misery enjoys company.
Keyword-> enjoys- and everything that definition imparts.

Fyi I call tattooing hepatitis b roulette.
Everyday someone's a winner( or is that whiner)

Yes, tats are distracting. I don't mind if she has a couple small, discrete tattoos, but it is a major deciding factor for me. I find tattoos to be a huge turnoff. Consider me old fashioned, but I think tattoos are only for sailors and convicted felons. For the life of me, I just can't understand why anyone would purposefully ruin their body. The worst of the worst type of tattoo is the tramp stamp right above a person's ass.

I was speaking of cheap character as well

So which of the two (you SO or ATF) gives you concern about hepatitis?

A female friend died of hepb she contracted
from her damn tat fetish. It was a few years ago.
So I ain't that pissed about it anymore.
At least her death pretty much spooked my
daughters into disliking tattoos.
Yeah I could tell them it was from a defectivee
autoclave and such- but why would I do that?
They got the general meme towards tats
that I want them to have- not for them.

ATF knows about SO, has to.
SO don't know about ATF, best not

A little off topic, but it seems crazy to me that anyone in these forums who is either hobbiest or provider wouldn't take this simple precaution...

There are lots of ways to get Hep A, or Hep B, and they are all totally preventable!

Get vaccinated. Yes, you get vaccinated for Hep A, and Hep B. If you have insurance it will likely cover it. If you don't, if you are here you are taking part in a risky behaviour, and this risk is totally preventable. Either pay for the vaccinations, or take chances with your life. Seems like the vaccination is pretty cheap.

Just wanted to make sure those here knew how easy it is to prevent Hep A & B.

Sorry to take things a tad off topic, but I think it was important!

Most people get tattoos as an outward part of expression or storytelling, some people get them because they're " cute ". I've seen women with sleeves that I've found sexy and I've also seen women with one or two tattoos that were in my opinion done distastefully. A "distracting tattoo" for me would be a portrait of a providers kids or grandmother on her back, I'd hate to have ole Mee Maw looking at me while I'm back there driving it to her granddaughter, other than that if she has some ink I'll still hit the pink.

Also, I'm sure the number of straight laced doctors, attorneys, and bankers that do have tattoos out number the sailors and felons with tattoos.
