You mean like previous presidents who dealt with SARS(2003) 8,000 cases(to be honest a Rep Pres at the time), H1N1 aka swine flu (2009-2010)- 60 million cases and 12,000 deaths, Legionnaires Disease, Ebola (2014-2016) 11 cases,Zika (2015-2016)~5000 cases.
BTW: the two presidents prior to Trump: Obama (D) and W. Bush (R)
Then Clinton (D), Reagan (R) Carter (D) Ford (R)

Yeah he's a genius.
And even better stuff...
** Dr. Fauci claimed that AIDS might be transmissible by “routine close contact.” (May 5, 1983, issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association). (Michael Fumento, The Myth of Heterosexual AIDS, p. 237).
** Dr. Fauci claimed that ten percent of the HIV/AIDS infected would be heterosexual—more than two and half times the rate – four percent – it actually was.

Hind sight is 20/20 , I’m sure mother said your a smart little boy but we all know better.
When you’re in the middle of fight, you base your opinions and statements on available information. No one has a crystal ball. These are all evolving, fluid issues.
Three things are certain death, taxes and you’re as ass!

It would be helpful if you tried to stick to the facts and stop the personal attacks. It just illustrates that you have a weak grasp of the events.
And by your own logic, since we can only know in hindsight the accuracy of his statements, why should we consider him an expert? He's been incredibly wrong before and kept his job. Consider if he's wrong again... but this time the worlds economies are at stake.

One often-heard statistic is the “case fatality rate”—that is, the percentage of people diagnosed with a disease who will die of it. This afternoon that figure stands at 3.5 percent for COVID-19 in the U.S., but this rate is significantly inflated because it does not count asymptomatic cases or undiagnosed people who recover at home. What we really need to know is the infection fatality rate: the percentage of all the people infected who eventually die of the disease. That’s what the German study attempts to do.
Over the last two weeks, German virologists tested nearly 80 percent of the population of Gangelt for antibodies that indicate whether they’d been infected by the coronavirus. Around 15 percent had been infected, allowing them to calculate a COVID-19 infection fatality rate of about 0.37 percent. The researchers also concluded that people who recover from the infection are immune to reinfection, at least for a while.
For comparison, the U.S. infection fatality rates for the 1957–58 flu epidemic was around 0.27 percent; for the 1918 Spanish flu epidemic, it was about 2.6 percent. For seasonal flu, the rate typically averages around 0.1 percent. Basically, the German researchers found that the coronavirus kills about four times as many infected people than seasonal flu viruses do.
So about 100-200K dead... sucks for them and their families, but a reason to shut down the whole f*cking country? nah.

100-200K dead with shelter-in-place (they are actually predicting 60K now by August) and abandoning social distancing will be nothing compared to “opening up the the whole f*cking country”. Stupid idea. Other countries are experiencing second waves of this shit.

why do you all act like the Country is shut down forever? probably will be around 8 weeks, if we follow social distancing. only been 3 so far, and y'all are climbing the God Damn wall. 3 million Vietnamese were killed during the War, families displaced, many escaped by boat to other Countries, many more sent to re-education camps, starved in prisons for supporting the South. and yet, 3 weeks of semi-quarantine, and you can't stand the hardship?

His daily briefings (rallies) are really something....I usually end up laughing my ass off. I pray he continues them.
One day he is somber and the next he is belittling and insulting Democratic governors, demonizing the media, trading in innuendo and bulldozing over the guidance of experts. Meanwhile as unemployment soars and the death toll skyrockets, and new polls show support for the president’s handling of the crisis sagging. Even Republican lawmakers, administration officials and members of his reelection campaign said they wanted Trump to limit his error-filled appearances at the West Wing briefings.
He can’t escape his instincts, his desire to put people down, or to talk about his ratings. That’s why he’s not getting the George W. Bush post-9/11 treatment. A leader in this sort of crisis should have a 75-to-80% approval rating.(Not less than 50% and sinking). The President's daily debriefings keep reinforcing his incompetence and lack of preparedness to the masses. Evidence is mounting that people are only tuning in to hear VP Pence and the experts speak (Drs. Birx and Fauci).
“Anybody that needs a test, gets a test. We—they’re there. They have the tests. And the tests are beautiful.”

Both Fauci and Brix have been WRONG from the beginning. Anyone else in any job that has been as far off as they have been would have been fired a LONG time ago! Trump would be well advised to fire both of them and hire some people that haven't been embedded in deep-state government and out-dated practices, their entire lives. Trump won the argument over Hydroxy-chloriquine, thank God! If little Tony had his way we'd be doing "studies" instead of saving lives with a drug that has been FDA approved for 65 years.

Because nobody has or needs to. We are actively closing some of the FEMA built hospitals and none of the regular hospitals in NYC are at capacity. And no, his dad was a millionaire, not a billionaire. So, was your mother a hooker? since that seems to be a prerequisite in your mind for success...

Yeah, and it cost him $130,000. - oh wait, that was a porn star. I wonder how many other woman he's slept with and how much he's paid to them? It wouldn't surprise me if he's a member of ECCIE.
And you guys wonder why on the SA thread, I insist on $200 for vanilla, $300 for anal with those sugar babies. Love Trump or hate him, $130,000 for a porn star only drives our prices up!

Didn’t President Donald Trump state about six weeks ago that there were currently 15 cases of the Coronavirus, but in the coming weeks the number of cases would be zero?. Just wondering if he actually said it, or if it too was fake news.
