Having a personal assistant vs management?

actually since this is my thread maybe that topic just modified would be a good idea...let me think how to word a thread on the guys needing a personal assistant....although I am sure some already have one but that is a good idea..hhhmmm a personal assistant to contact the ladies and make sure dates get kept...check reviews etc...CS you may be on to something...let me think....

I think some of the Providers need schedulers/handlers. I don't consider all of them pimps, more like personal assistants.
Some of my best sessions occurred when the lady had someone schedule the meeting for us.

To help put this thread back on track. One of the good things about having a personal assistant though is that not every provider is able to respond to emails or pms due to personal reasons. It is a lot easier for me to call or text the ladies on their personal phone as a female friend and notify them of the messages. They have the option if able to contact the client back or have me contact them. Their regular clients know that they can also check with me on schedules, pass messages along, etc. I hear from clients all the time about ladies not responding for 2-3 weeks and other ladies getting busted because they didn’t take the time to screen. I have even had a hobbyist call me up concerned because a new provider didn’t ask him for his screening info. There are different reasons why people run their businesses the way they do. It is not for any of us to judge. What works well for one person may not be the right way for the other. This is a business, and due to business levels there are people that need assistants to ensure that they provide the best customer service possible. And when this personalized customer service is provided, even with an assistant, then clients will return. This is a basic business strategy, be it in the hobby or the corporate world.
Another good advantage is that it helps to keep personal business, personal feelings, jealousy, and stalkerish type of things off forums such as this. Wouldn’t you agree Ms. Vixen?

I agree with everything you say except with one caveat. Try as we may to keep this entire 'Hobby Thing' business as usual, we are still dealing with human beings coming into close personal contact with each other. Human Nature dictates that personal feelings will, sooner or later, creep into the senario.

I think what many Providers fail to understand is the Escort Business has evolved. The rise of the Independent Provider is one of the biggest factors in this evolution. For what ever reason, the vast majority of Hobbyist do not like Pimps, Managers, Personal Assistants, or Boyfriends answering the phone, dropping her off, or banging on the door saying "times up".

My advice would be if you do have a 'personal manager', don't advertise it, and always remember, if at any time during your business dealings with a Hobbyist the 'personal assistant' does enter the picture, be prepared to hear about it in the review when it appears in bold print, "----- ------ HAS A PIMP".

Granted, the majority of Providers would benefit from having someone take care of the business end of things, because it is a shame when a really great BCD Lady gets a bad reputation, because she can't seem to grasp the simple concept of showing up on time on the right day. But for some reason, there seems to be a fine line between "personal assistant" and pimp", or at least in the minds of the Hobbyist. And, in the end, what the Hobbyist think is a big concern.

I agree that yes personal feelings do most always come into the scenario and being the mother hen that I am, I have had to on more than one occasion to remind some ladies that this is not a dating service and our clients are not our real life boyfriends. I
I can only speak for myself but I do not answer the ladies hobby phones, nor do I drop them off or bang on doors. This is their business, I help and advise them.
Also it is not the simple concept of showing up on time on the right day for some of these ladies that they have personal assistant. Just like hobbyist have to be discreet, providers also have to be this way for reasons that you may never know nor may want to know. Clients don't want to hear about Child custody issues, crazy ex husbands, real life issues, etc.
A good assistant will enhance a provider's business so that the provider is able to concentrate more on her BCD skills.
There is a fine line between "manager" and "pimp" not personal assistant at least in my case as I can't speak for the others.

Having someone handle booking and screening would certainly be helpful allowing a provider to focus on the task at hand, be a provider. The one thing an assistant won't change is the NSNC & Flakes! Let’s face it, no matter what you do there is going to be a percentage of people that are going to be flakes! Why? Because they flat out just don't give a shit! No sense in getting mad or upset about it, it’s just the way it is! People don’t give a shit with consequences, so now just imagine the outcome when you add anonymity into the equation?

There are flakey providers and hobbyist alike that are ass wholes and that’s just the way it is!

What I mean Ms. Vixen is that some ladies think that they have a personal relationship with a client and when they learn that their perception is wrong they want to then express their feelings via threads on forums such as this. I have had ladies that I assist and also others providers who are friends that call me up ranting and raving, wanting to email the client and post things. I always advise that it is in the best interest of their business not to take these actions as it can only hurt their business in the end.

Ms M you quoted me but addressed Ms IV. Just FYI: I do all the posting here! There have been a few times little SL shared his thoughts and it just got me in trouble! I don't have an addictive attraction, but little SL sure does! That’s why I try to keep him out of it! He's such a "dick" LOL

You make a valid point. Unfortunately people do have feelings. It is challenging to be unemotional about something that’s as personal as the intimate part of this hobby! I fall victim to this on a regular basis! I just love the ladies! Little SL is very unemotional about the whole thing. Selfish little guy that he is! LOL

Just picture little SL posting.... "Hey what the hell are you doing with Burk? I thought we had something going?" You can see why I need to keep him out of it!
