Hillary is no bill so don't expect any similar policies. Bill was the most republican democrat we've seen and one of the only presidents that understood you can't lower the debt without cutting spending and shrinking government while keeping taxes the same or slightly raising them. Hillary will be a tax and spend liberal while bush was a cut taxes and spend republican.

On a side note bill actually helped talk the don into running so he can't be all bad. Initially I thought it was a new low for us to have him in the race but I'm coming around.

I've met this family too. When I was 14 I'm talking about the Clinton's yes I expect some changes. Who do you think the real brains behind bill. The old saying behind every good man is a good woman. They have my up most respect and everyone else can feel whatever. They are my favorite in politics.

So yes, we have a lot of issues here. And I think Mr. Trump, has the potential to solve some of those issues. Sure as hell cant be any worse, than the idiots who have been running the country the past few years.

She had a blind spot about Iraq a mile wide -- and is still too much of a foreign policy hawk for my tastes -- not not crazy hawkish like most Republicans (Paul excepted). I'd love Bernie Sanders to be President but 1) he's not going to win the nomination; and 2) even if he did, he would face a tighter race than HRC for the general (thought I think he'd still win.

In person, she's not nearly as warm and engaging as Bill, but who is. He's a once in a lifetime political talent. But she's got serious policy chops and he'll be there talking to her every day and every night. And in a small group, she's actually pretty funny and can let her hair down a bit. She's just so reluctant to show it in public because of the horrible treatment they got from the media, even those relatively moderate media outlets that should have been friendly.

I'm a fan, but honestly the reason Bill Clinton was able to balance a couple of budgets during his terms, was due to the taxation of over-sized Nasdaq capital gains from 1995-2000, a bubble that eventually popped and helped deliver a two year recession at the beginning of Bush's first term.

for starters, I consider her to be a carpet-bagger Senator, who used that office merely as a stepping stone.. she was ineffective, although not bad for a junior Senator.. I think she was out of her league as Sec. of State, with several major missteps that still haunt her today.. and she's too much of a policy wonk.. detailed policy treatises don't impress me, I would rather have a President who doesn't have every angle figured out, but can be nimble in response to problems.. and lastly, Hillary fights her critics at every turn, she will not admit to even minor failures regarding Benghazi or her email scandal..

Presidential candidates that say they have a concrete plan of action are lying. They have not been in the office nor the daily briefings to know what they CAN do.

You're too harsh on plans. Most candidates, at least those who have experience in politics, have very concrete plans. But you have to understand that implicit conditions that come with any plan. First, is "if I had my way, this is what I'd ideally like to do . . . ." Well, for good for for ill, it takes more than one person to accomplish something in our government. You have to have Congress go along. And time in never on the side of those who want change. If anybody in the press would actally ask a Presidential candidate, "Do you think this will be possible in your first two years?", they might get some surprisingly candid answers. "Probably not, unless we get a big change in Congress. But, I'll push toward making the best changes toward this that I can." Or ask, "If once your take office, you find this proposal couldn't get through Congress, do you have a more incremental fall back plan?"

Of course no one in the infotainment corporate media wants to ask an intelligent question like this. They want to stir up real or fake controversy. Have talking heads screaming at each other. A calm, reasoned discussion of the issues, what is possible versus what is aspirational, etc. isn't what the ignorant masses will jump through their own assholes to see.

In all likelihood, I'll be voting for Hillary Clinton vs. whoever the Republican candidate is. I'm really not a fan of how close HRC is to Wall Street, or her stance on legalizing a plant that's already legal in Colorado. She'll get my vote because Republicans keep trying to push Trickle Down Economics in spite of multiple examples of the policy being a failure. Kansas, Louisiana, and Wisconsin blew huge holes in their budget trying to prove trickle down works. Governor Brownback of Kansas and the Legislature decided that instead of reinstating business taxes after their disastrous experiment, they would raise sales tax which disproportionately affects the Middle Class and the poor. That's on top of all the cuts they already made. Less tax revenue has never equaled more tax revenue.

I also have no desire to live in a theocracy. I could move to Iran if I wanted that.

I agree with TexTushHog in the respect that people don't seem capable of intelligent conversations about public policy. Politics is just one of the ways people embrace tribalism. Political dogma similar to religious dogma, believe and don't question. People just starting ranting without even knowing details that are publicly available.

To pay down the debt, the government is going to have to start taking in more money than it spends. It's not going to work any other way. That's glaringly obvious, but no one really mentions that on the news. I don't ever remember a candidate saying that. It's all pie-in-the-sky plans with no hard details. To be honest most of the public would be bored by the details of the National Budget and probably wouldn't understand it. How many people know how much the National Budget is? How many people know how much different agencies and programs receive? How many people know all of that information is public? Not many.

It's not going to matter. I'm willing to make a large wager that a republican will win. We just had 8 democrat years, we will not have 4 more. The democrats best chance of winning is if trump gets the nod. Hillary has swung too far left to push away from Obama and many of the republicans have swung farther right.

Trump might be what's best or he could be a comical disaster. He isn't a politician and his ego will get in the way but he can't be worse then bush or bush.

There are some many many individuals that have there noses buried up Obamas ass that if you stopped their whole head would be buried up there. Yahoo News and MSNBC - Chris Matthews is a very good example along with the rest of the idiots for MSNBC and CNN.

The thing the separates Trump and Obama is that Trump is his own man where Obama takes advantage of his race and uses this to his advantage. There is a big difference between Ben Carson and Obama where Ben Carson is a very educated and gifted individual.

Hillary does not seem to have a snowballs chance in hell in winning the election an with the fake front that she is now putting on she will be the same way of get in line to kiss my ass if you want something. During the election would either vote for Trump or Carson for they come from a different mold then what is in DC now. Elizabeth Warren or Joe Biden would be better choices then Hillary.
