Illegal immigration .vs immigration?

I'm not sure I'm completely following your line here. Are you saying that the amount of undocumented asylum seekers is up 300%? OR
Are you saying that the amount of illegal entries is up 300% overall?

Reason is- the border patrols have been still gathering up same as before- and although the amount of ppl trying to get in have increased. We still deport those who are non documented asylum seekers, so that's not new; Numbers are up because the places they are fleeing are increasingly bad.

End of day- we need to minimize the amount of asylum seekers being granted access and allowed into the country while awaiting a judges ruling on their request, and we need WAY more judges to get through the pool of requests. That takes money and laws to allow more judges to be hired and limits on the level of folks coming in. (despite EO's that have been constantly sued and lost- due to not being a legislative process.) ((Similar to EO's that were to discharge student debt- if that helps to understand the limits on EO's vs. legislation decisions))

Under control- isn't really quantitative. Plus weren't those policies partly due to the pandemic and the limitations that were legally allowed due to the pandemic? Immigration needs a serious over-haul to be Fixed under any administration, policies etc.,- be damned.

There are legal flaws in those terms and they need to shored up to be able to legally deport those who break the immigration laws.

Interpretation of those laws shouldn't be ambiguous in any way, as it seems to be today, with one court ruling in favor or against the current end-state. Jurisdiction seems to be muddling in with state rights vs. federal rules and laws. That could be a fairly easy fix; or with the current congress, an impossible one. Feckless all of them.

I previously suggested one idea that would work when some leftists asked for ideas how to stop it - automated machine guns on top of the border wall. When someone gets within X yards the guns fire warning shots between them and the border along with warnings over a loud speaker to not advance. At that point, they know if they get any closer, well they are now running into the path of gunfire and were adequately warned
