I saw Brad Raffensberger on TV and he's saying they're going to call it today - likely, maybe, hopefully.

and private platforms can in fact regulate as they see fit, however if they are following directive from a goverment to only project what the goverment wants, that is a totally different situation.... they are then not simply a private format

It’s called hyperbole, ffs. Of course you don’t have to actually donate a building, it is exaggeration to make point. A point that is very true in this case. Getting in to a place like Harvard or Stanford is absolutely NOT all about merit, but about who your parents are, what position of power and wealth they hold, and your own politics. Not to mention race. Tons of white and Asian kids are routinely fucked over to make room for blacks who are far less qualified (and more often than not flunk out).

Lots of examples of this if you bothered to look, David Hogg is a good one. A totally average kid who, without the media attention from being a flaming liberal, wouldn’t have gotten a second look before his application was thrown in the round file. There’s shit tons more, like those actors who got caught throwing money around and lying about accomplishments to get their kids into elite schools.
