The bottom line is that terms like lady, female, woman, and escort are almost always going to be the safest and most polite terms to use.

When you stray from these commonly accepted terms, or try to see how far you can push the limits on eccie with terms that are either clearly derogatory (whore, cumdumpster, etc) or often perceived as derogatory (prostitute, hooker, street walker), then you risk warnings and infractions.

As a general rule, I try to keep my comments here respectful and friendly. I treat others as I'd like to be treated. I regularly remind myself (and sometimes others) that we are all going to have a better experience here, and enjoy this hobby more, if we simply read and heed the forum guidelines.

I don't recall the last time I used that particular term, but I wouldn't intentionally speak it unless I had a very specific reason to do so - because some women *might* be offended by it. Some are bothered, some aren't. It doesn't do me any good to create animosity with either strangers or people I know for absolutely no reason, when person A may not be slighted, but person B might. I can't see any reason to use that particular term when there are dozens of other words that have an identical meaning, that people are less likely to get worked up over. In my mind, it doesn't seem intelligent to tick off people whom I may find myself potentially asking for help from at some point in the future. I'm very fortunate that I put in the work to make a very nice living. I have all the fancy degrees and the licenses and certifications necessary to be successful in the financial service industry. The last thing I would ever let happen is to allow some uneducated and clueless woman, (who is fixated on my money and who has absolutely nothing to offer other than a vagina, ((which is hardly unique)) to get a piece of the pie that I made and created with my own true grit.

I would be doing myself a serious disservice if I did so and passed up so many great intelligent women who are successful and don't want to live off a man because they are ambitious and independent enough to have confidence in themselves to make it on their own... those are the women most men you seek would marry. Why? Because those women actually want you for you and not your wallet.
