By the way, he did this to me once before for an hour appointment in Houma and silly little me just believed he was telling the truth.

I've never worked for any Oil or Gas companies.But common courtesy tells you if you make an appointment with someone,you at least have the manners to cancel it in the correct manner.

It is just a matter of common courtesy, something that is not as common as it should be.

Well to straighten out the facts on Houma, when I called to make an appt I was told you were leaving town...I called you when I got home from offshore...now your twisting things...but hey what ever....its ya'll word vs. mine....I know what I did sucks and I feel really bad about the situation and I will try and make amends and hopefully we can all get past this and move on with their lives...And yes we have internet offshore...i can text but no phone, costs an arm and a leg to use cell offshore....

My problem overall was I couldn't even get a face to face cancellation seeing I was sitting in the hotel Libby for an hour.

Cajun. What I want to know is, was this a plan A or B type date? You only had one extra ticket to get into the suite, but you had Hiedi coming.

cajun in 25 years on the job i have never been to a manned rig that did not have a phone,yes it is true that cellphone's are very expensive to use offshore,but since you are such a vital part of your rig,i'm sure they will let you use the phone,keep making cheesy excuses and you will need a lifeboat to get away from what these ladies will do to you,MAN OVERBOARD

As I stated in the other thread, the least he could have done is run down and pay for your parking. I would have done that just to prove to the lady I am legit, I had a room, I would be very apologetic and more than likely would have rescheduled on the spot, just me.

Now every lady has to wonder, was he really at the hotel? Did he really have a room? Did he really intend to have a date with any lady? No gentleman allows any lady to sit in a hotel lobby for an hour and then txts a cancellation.

I am not an oil & gas person, but I can see the crap piling up. I am and will always be a gentleman and I will treat the ladies with decency and courtesy, just me.

Here's what I don't understand. When Maddy was 15 minutes away all was fine. When she got there it still takes almost another hour before he gets in touch with her after she tried to reach him during that time and she was waiting downstairs.

If he found out he had to work before she arrived he should have told her. If he found out after she had arrived she should have been with him already. If he found out around the same time she arrived why didn't he tell her immediately?

And then to have 2 ladies scheduled?

Sounds like BS to me. I know people get called into work, but I would have been on the phone immediately, apologizing profusely and offering to make it up to her as soon as possible. I would NOT have waited an hour and just sent a text and avoided her calls/texts afterwards. At least have some common courtesy.

I know that as a provider I would not take a chance on setting up anything with a client that had this kind of history with another provider. I'm sure both of these ladies, on top of the run around they were given, also ended up losing other opportunities that night because they believed they had a nice evening planned already.

Maybe I am 100% out of line....but: This seems to be between KinkyMaddy and CajunSausage.....why is every other tom dick and harry jumping in? Especially when we ALL admit that we have no knowledge of the events surrounding this problem between the two parties.

Are other agendas at play here? Are we just in a big funk because LSU stunk it up that bad?

It seems to me that Cajun and Kinky should settle up. But all this fuel being thrown on the fire doesn't seem to be helping any conclusion be met with this mixup.

Like I said, I may be 100% out of line.....but this seems like a big stink about alittle dustup between two people and we are staring at a 40 car pile-up. It seems that the situation is escalating rather than a winding down to a conclusion.

No disrespect intended to anyone.
