For as long as power lines have been around, claims have been made by scientists that people living near them have a higher chance of getting cancer than those living miles away. He is simply equating the same claim about the power lines resulting from wind turbines. Watch the 1981 Belushi movie, Neighbors. It shows how folks thought about power lines near your home even back then.

No matter how you interpret the statement, it was one of the dumbest statements Trump has ever made. Power lines do not create noise. Trump did not say something emanating from the turbines caused cancer. And who is "they"? There is no "they".

It is impossible to defend that statement.

The latest approval poll taken by Reuters/Ipsos, after the release of the redacted Mueller report, shows Trump at 37%, the lowest this year, dropping 3% since the last poll done on April 15th, and 6 points from when the Barr report was released.

Take it for what it's worth. The good news for Trump -- he has almost an identical approval rating to Reagan at this point of time in office and we all know what Reagan did in 1984.
