As for the “Friend’s” Husbands excuse for why he met the Escort.Being “Addicted to Porn” (I am going to assume its Internet Porn as it more prevalent these days) rarely leads to Real World sexual encounters.In fact most credible studies into the problem have found the exact opposite occurs in Internet Porn Addicts (they prefer the fiction on screen to the real thing).If he is a true Addict, don’t expect him to stop without getting some type of treatment for his Addiction.And if he was unemployed at the time, where did he get the Money to pay the Escort?Or is that how the Wife found out (paid the Escort instead of the Power bill)?
As for it being easy to meet an Escort these days, I would agree that the rise of the Internet and its related communications functions does make it easier to meet all kinds of people. Time was if someone was going to have an “Affair” it was their Secretary at work, the Milkman, Postman, Fred or Shirley down the street. Now conceivably it can be anyone anywhere in the World with an Internet connection. I won’t surprise me if the already high Divorce rate continues to climb with this being considered one of the factors causing it.
