No it's not, but that's what it's become. Last I knew the acronym ECCIE was Escort Client Community Information Exchange. The "escort" part has pretty much been pushed out of ECCIE. This is a free site. "clients" only pay if they want to read reviews without getting PA credit for writing them.
If escorts want to review me, I'm fine with that. How services are rendered is the only deciding factor I have in seeing a provider more than once. I'm not here to find a SO or to make friends with other clients

The day a provider wants to pay me for my time for a session is the day she may review me. Men review women on this site to help other men determine who we will spend our hard earned money on. If I am getting paid, then by all means, review me for my services of my time I offered. If YOU do NOT want to make money, then go ahead and write reviews of us so we do not see you. Sure, go ahead and let me see a review where you tell the providers that "He paid me for an entire hour but he lasted 5 minutes and here's all you have to do to make him pop. Girls you gotta see him, he's the easiest $250 you will make".
Many girls already tell me about their clients in a session. Many who don't even do anything sexual, they may only talk, give the girl a massage, or cry about their lives. they want companionship, a little female company for an hour or two. Why do men want to read that or know a gal is telling everyone about it?
It's not about pride, or my ego. I pay you for a specific sexual function I want in my sexual life that I'm missing. I read the reviews of the ladies to determine which ladies I want to pay for that part of my sexual world I don't get at home. These reviews also let me know which girls, who may be the hottest thing on the board but have a cuntish attitude and have no IOP who are dead fucks. We spend our money on who and what we want. Enough said,.

I don't have time to write notes little own reviews. There are two types of clients, the ones you earn your paycheck (and we all know those gentlemen girls), and the ones you had no right taking their donation. If I've seen a client more that three times, I'll tell the provider which he is. )

I agree with you for the most part. We create a safe space for the gentlemen whose company we keep and that should not be breached.
However... I remember years ago, working at a convenience store. During the first month of training I was introduced to many paying customers. I was told who the regulars were (treat them extra special), who was allowed to cash checks (and who was blacklisted from it - this info was shared with other stores), and that it was ok to run off that guy in the army jacket, as all he'd do was stand around the magazines and read the porn and stare at the cashiers - he needed to pay or get the hell out. Info on this man was also shared amongst stores.
This practice of information sharing about customers/clients also goes on in restaurants, hotels, retail, financial, etc., pretty much in every industry in existence.
Regardless of who is paying for what... word of mouth ALWAYS goes both ways.

I have a small Do Not See list for North Alabama and I always provide references if a guy asks me to. I do not see the need for a performance type review board. These guys are the customers and they should have discreetion.

FWIW I wouldn't care if ladies posted things about me.
That said it would be really simple for the owners of this site to add in an OK system and display it in the postbit by where it says reviews. Click on the number to be redirected to a page that lists all of the ok's / white lists given by who etc

It's all about a comfort level

I think we keep missing the point! The question being raised isn't about being discrete, hurting ego's, it's about safety and comfort level. Most ladies are wanting to know that a client she doesn't know, is safe and comfortable to be with. I doubt she is concerned about your "inch and a half of dangling death", but cleanliness, respectfulness, maybe age, the weirdness factor are maybe more important.
When I'm hoping to visit with a new lady, I really do want her to know I'm a good guy to see. The first meeting is always difficult. Anything to ease the counter is always a good thing. I really don't want her wondering if I am like "that other asshole.". Now, she could just believe me (right!), or she can check in with the ladies I've seen. However, in a small community, there isn't much visiting going on between the local ladies. So, maybe a little box the ladies can check to say "OK" might be nice. Might be good for the boys also. Just maybe some are getting a bad reputation because of their behavior? if that hurts some childish ego, I'm OK with that. Seems like the idea of a community has a hard time catching on. We're a community that likes to play! Communication helps us all know who knows how to play and who doesn't play very well with others.

Ah yes, and at one time we said "Men get to vote, women do not!"
Things do change, and standards do change. This one should too.

DISCRETION
There are those of us in this lifestyle that require one thing above everything else.
DISCRETION It's pretty much rule #1.
If a provider can not provide that then she should not be in this lifestyle and I can not see how she can be writing reviews of her clients and be discreet at the same time.
As the client, if I am not the one telling whom I have seen then no one should ever know.
If I see Jane Doe and I do not post anywhere that I have seen her then no other "John" should ever find out that I seen her.
and the only other way that a provider should ever find out is if I book through P411 or use her as a reference.
I enjoy threads like this... they make great screening tools.

Only if the OK's are made to be only visible to the providers that you allow to see them... like the P411 system.
Quite frankly it is none of my business as a client to how many OK's you have... nor is it yours to know how many I have.

So if Fred writes a review of Sally that is discretion, but then it is inappropriate and indiscrete for Sally to reply and say yes, she has seen Fred? That is somewhat hard to follow.

Fred is paying Sally for her discretion... really don't see what is so hard to follow about that.
If Fred writes a review of Sally, then it was Fred, as the customer, that decided to tell everyone that he has seen her.
Advertising, reviews and word-of-mouth from customers is what drives most businesses... therefore it would not be indiscreet for Fred to write a review.
How could it be when everyone already knows what Sally does for a living... on the other hand, there are many Fred's in the hobby that don't advertise,
write reviews are post anywhere whom they have are have not seen... therefore if Sally said that she seen them in anyway, especially by writing a review,
then yes, that would be very indiscreet of her... don't understand how that is so hard to follow unless you find the whole idea of discretion hard to follow.
On the other hand lets say that Sally has a No Review Policy...
Now if Fred wrote a review then that could be considered as being indiscreet... but it is still up to Fred as the customer... and not Sally.
