So I ask again, primarily to the pro-government types...What specifically should the govt be doing about the Corona Virus? The Feds are quarantining people in NE and the city of San Francisco has declared a state of emergency. Supposedly they are speeding up (getting rid of some regulatory roadblocks) of drugs to market.

Trump was speaking last night - and Tony fauci from NIH spoke - The NIH is fast-tracking (and have been working on this for some time already) efforts to develop a vaccine for coronavirus, and testinig studies for safety and efficacy of anti-virals on coronavirus.

A vaccine - If all goes well - at warp speed will take a year in the US. Forwign studies and meds are not acceptable - our laws kept thalidomide out of teh US market and saved a major tragedy of fetal deformities.



Hopefully medical anti-viral trials will result in a treatment - for those at high risk and severely affected are the priorities.

The opposition of the Fascist DPST leaders nazi pelosi and crying chuckei schumer - along with their Lies that trump and adminstration have done nothing - shows their politicization of a medical issue.

How long did it take for a vaccine for polio to become affordable enough to mass produce and distribute? Wasn't it literally decades? I know medical and technological advancements have come a long way, but that 1 year estimate still sounds too good to be true for a vaccine that can be mass produced and distributed.
