You have a couple of valid points, however nobody cares. Look at the replies after the original post, more of the stuff you mentioned.

Bottom line is that nobody cares, either that or nobody cares enough to post agreeing with you. They may hit the 'like' button, but they won't post taking a chance they will get flamed. Just know that there are a lot of good people here and the type of person you're talking about is just a handful, in the context of all the members of the Houston area. The vocal few will post very aggressively to protect their turf, because they want to protect the status quo of the posting style of the Houston forums.
