Because they know what they want and limit. I know at least 2 providers and 1 UTR who limit appt and manage appt by scheduling different date. I know at least one provider who couldn't see me on my 4 day trips to DFW because it was her off day and already booked other days. I know it takes her at least an hr to prepare for my 1-2 hr appointment. Now that is LVP.

I am a low volume provider, if I see 4 people a week, its a busy week. I don't see more than 2 people a day and they are booked hours apart and I rarely see any one on the weekend. I like that way and definitely see the difference in the experience compared to having a busier schedule.

I like to keep things easy breezy, comfortable yet still have the added plus of me being free to be fully connected to what's going on in front of me, vs being preoccupied with who next, what time, and that whole process.
