I agree with never letting a client go #2 in your hotel room..... every time I would see a client I referred to as the Kicker he would drop off the kids when we got back to my room. I noticed a habit after the second time and would always make him visit the lobby restroom before joining me upstairs.
I think it is a very wise idea to have your client call 15 minutes before your appointment time so you do not hear him screaming your room number into the phone while walking through the lobby.... even if it is a busy hotel, there are eyes and ears everywhere.
I always recommend never using the same hotel as an incall while on tour for longer than 2 nights. Too much traffic=too much attention.
