Indeed Winn Dixie, indeed.

Every American, no matter what your politics are, should not only be ashamed but outraged over the double standards for justice and the abuse of power to conduct political witchhunts over your future political opponent

This is Banana Republic bullshit. It's one of the darkest days in American history. A true democracy may not survive this unprecedented action by the utterly corrupt regime in charge

This is the “midterm raid”, they’re still cooking up whatever other bullshit they’ll pull after he announces. Washington is scared shitless of Trump getting elected a third time and declassifying information on these corrupt fucktards.

LOL at anmar85. Like the white house didn’t know what was going on. What are you, 4? I’ve got a bridge for sale if you’re interested.

And another thought... all the people brought before the Jan. 6th committee have testified under oath and the evidence is all very damaging to the tangerine turd and all the other asshole Republicans that won't testify under oath, but trump and those assholes keep squealing on the net about how unfair and mistreated the tangerine turd is. Have them testify under oath... they won't because they can't lie like they are now on social media.

A day after the feds raided Trump’s house, the KGB (formerly known as the FBI) seized the cell phone of a sitting Republican member of Congress while he was traveling with his family…the same Republican who pushed to impeach Biden’s AG, Merrick Garland.

Still think this isn’t political?

This isn’t about the law. It’s about punishing them and the voters that might have the gall to elect these guys.

Rep. Scott Perry files articles of impeachment against Merrick Garland. Garland sends the FBI to retrieve his private cell phone. This is America, and these Gestapo tactics are not welcome. There will be a reckoning.

Newsweek:

FBI's Mar-a-Lago Raid Presents a Time for Choosing: The Regime, or America

It wasn't enough for The Regime to concoct claims of treasonous Russian collusion to spy on his campaign, and then use the subsequent "investigations" to divert and destabilize his administration while covering up its misdeeds.

It wasn't enough for The Regime to execute two farcical impeachments and sabotage his every act in open insubordination and contempt—effectively forestalling a peaceful transfer of power, and depriving Americans of a full four years from which we would have all more richly benefited.

It wasn't enough for The Regime to do everything in its power to "fortify" the 2020 election against him, just as it wouldn't be enough for The Regime to disqualify him from the 2024 ballot—in defense of "democracy," of course—under the fraudulent pretext of an "insurrection."

The Regime wants President Donald J. Trump arrested, shackled, and left to rot in prison.

It is vengeful, rabid, and out for blood.

Monday's raid of Mar-a-Lago by the FBI—the latest in a string of third-world acts by an agency that considers itself so untouchable that its leader apparently deemed it acceptable to cut short a Senate oversight hearing days before the raid to jet off to a mountain retreat—is the first in a series of events poised to culminate in the attempted prosecution of Trump.

The specific legal grounds for the raid, like the grounds for the coming indictment, are really beside the point.

Trump's crime was, and always has been, that he threatened The Regime's power and privilege—in so doing, representing tens of millions of Americans who The Regime considers an impediment to its total control, and who it holds in utter contempt.

That's all the "predication" The Regime needed to pursue him from the day he emerged in Trump Tower to declare himself an unprecedented political force, and, since, treat all manner of like-minded Wrongthinkers the same.

The pretense of the rule of law is gone, and to delude oneself into thinking otherwise after the two-tier, Soviet standard of justice we have seen applied again and again over the last six years would be dangerous folly.

Having suffered what it perceived to be a near-death experience in the election of Donald Trump, The Regime must now show that anyone and everyone from the lowliest of non-violent January 6-ers held in pretrial detention to Trump himself can, and will, be crushed if they dare to not submit.

Those celebrating the Mar-a-Lago raid are condoning the very authoritarian behavior they claim to decry.

They are cheering on the transformation of America into something beneath a banana republic, into something even more demoralizing and devastating: the greatest nation in the history of mankind being reduced to a decaying and decadent dictatorship of the Woketariat.

We find ourselves in a dire circumstance in which our every critical institution is being, or has been turned, against itself, and trained on the very public it was supposed to serve.

The raid of the estate of a president by a lawless security apparatus on behalf of his successor represents the crossing of a civilizational Rubicon.

This is a time for choosing far starker and more precarious than the last time the phrase was used, because we have for so long chosen wrong.

Today, the choice is this: You either stand with our totalitarian regime, or you stand with the Americans it seeks to bring to heel.

Those who are silent will be complicit in the horrors to which our nation will be subjected.

You can't seriously look at a trial where only the prosecution was allowed to have representatives, and a defense that is non existent.

This is communist China, where you are guilty until proven innocent, and, even then executed with one shot to the back of the head, and, your family then billed for the cost of the cartridge.

I think this is merely part 1 we're seeing. Building a case where the witnesses are public officials doesn't mean they don't get to defend themselves. Part 2 will be there for that purpose. And every single person who was there in Jan 6 should be held to account if they are charged. Their attorney teams can help them craft a defense or plead or justify sitting on their hands while it all went down. But to say that Trump or any of these folks are not going to be able to defend themselves is just untrue. This committee is gathering evidence to see if this Jan 6 events merit charges and to refer to the DOJ. They are the ones who do the charging. I suspect some ppl will get charged. As to whom, I don't think we know everything yet. As the investigation continues. Pompeao & PA's own Doug Mastriano was there yesterday. And a phone from another PA GOP member, Perry, was siezed for review. Seems the Jan 6 committee is done simply requesting document that are now mysteriously missing, purged or nefariously deleted w/o back up. I sense they have almost all the info they need. And they will make public those findings.

You guys complaining about not showing defense or the other side will get to enjoy that in part 2.

Anyone who decides to break laws should be held accountable. It's funny how every single person in Congres disavowed knowledge or condemned Jan 6 immediately afterwards. But here we are and the Republicans want to keep the tribe in line and now say it was a touristic visit. I'm betting that the proof that committee has will show just how coordinated it was, and how desperate 45 was too stay in office. If that was, as I believe it to be- illegal, then I hope that all the individuals charged mount a defense and witnesses to defend against them. But what I suspect will happen is that many ppl will roll over and pleas will be involved etc. Is hard to defend an undefendable position. 850 plus civilians have already been charged by the DOJ. thinking some of that stink doesn't go up to high offices is just juvenile wishes. So part 2 will be coming. The only thing stopping that would be a change in both the house and Senate. I'm betting that it will be a shit show from now till Nov.

One good knee jerk deserves another. Perry’s actions were an an emotionally charged knee jerk response to the search at Trumps Beautiful Home in Florida.

He was a promoter of the Big Lie. He has always been a person of interest.

Garland shouldn’t be in office anyway. He should be on the SCOTUS.

How is it possible that in a country of 330 million people, the magistrate who approved the Trump warrant is the same guy who:

-donated to Obama
-represented Epstein's gang
-circled the wagons for Lois Lerner
-had to recuse himself from Trump v Clinton
-has anti-Trump posts on his social media

Might be a hard concept for libtards to understand, but you don’t need to be a legal genius to know that it’s wrong for a Judge to sign a warrant for someone they publicly trashed.

You know it's bad for Senile Biden and his corrupt DOJ when El Salvador’s President reacts:

What would the US Government say, if OUR police raided the house of one of the main possible contenders of OUR 2024 presidential election?

JUST IN - FBI refused to hand over the search warrant for the raid on Trump's Mar-a-Lago and kicked an attorney off the property.

Also FBI wanted all the security cameras turned off and everyone kicked out.

If the Feds did everything above board, why would they mind cameras recording them or Trump's attorney watching them?

How about instead of ranting and raving about how corrupt and injustice the country is, that you lot do something about it? Or perhaps you were late to buy your greyhound ticket to DC in January?

Regardless, no amount of ranting, raving, conspiracy theories and name calling on the internet isn't going to get anything done.

Upset that a humanoid citrus got his home raided? Vote. Vote doesn't work? I'm sure you know about your second amendment right. Exercise it, and posibly become a martyr. See how that turns out for you.

FBI searched Melania’s wardrobe, spent hours in Trump’s private office during Mar-a-Lago raid

FBI agents scoured Melania Trump’s wardrobe and spent several hours combing through Donald Trump’s private office, breaking open his safe and rifling through drawers when they raided the former First Family’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida Monday morning.

The Post has learned that the search warrant used by the FBI to enter the palatial Palm Beach property focused solely on presidential records and evidence of classified information being stored there.

A source close to the former president expressed concern that FBI agents or DOJ lawyers conducting the search could have “planted stuff” because they would not allow Trump’s attorneys inside the 128-room building to observe the operation, which lasted more than nine hours.

The raid by over 30 plain clothes agents from the Southern District of Florida and the FBI’s Washington Field Office extended through the Trump family’s entire 3,000-square-foot private quarters, as well as to a separate office and safe, and a locked basement storage room in which 15 cardboard boxes of material from the White House were stored.

Feds arrived at 9 a.m. and didn’t leave until 6:30 p.m.

An eyewitness to the raid said all of the boxes were confiscated by federal agents Monday, but it is unknown if anything else was taken as no itemized list of items was provided by the FBI.

The boxes contain documents and mementos from Trump’s presidency, reportedly including letters from Barack Obama and Kim Jong Un, and other correspondence with world leaders.

A legal source said that the boxes had been packed up by the General Services Administration and shipped to Mar-a-Lago when Trump left office in January 2020.

Trump’s attorneys, led by Evan Corcoran, had been cooperating fully with federal authorities on the return of the documents to the National Archives and Records Administration, according to sources.

In May, Corcoran granted access into Mar-a-Lago’s windowless storage room to FBI agents who spent several hours searching through the boxes. Trump stopped by the basement to say hello at one point, says someone who was there.

The Trump family since has decamped for the summer to his golf estate in Bedminster, New Jersey.

Mar-a-Lago is closed for the season and only a skeleton staff, including groundskeepers, were present during Monday’s raid.

Access to the 20-acre private country club is believed to have been granted by heavily armed US Secret Service (USSS) agents stationed at the front gates and toting M4 carbines. Lawyers for the former president, who were caught off guard by the raid, arrived an hour later.

The FBI would not have executed a warrant without notifying the Secret Service first, according to a retired high ranking USSS agent.

“USSS legal counsel probably would’ve directed [them] to see copy of warrant and then step back.”

Once inside the air-conditioned, white marble-clad private quarters, agents fanned out to search every room, while shocked staff were instructed by Trump’s lawyers to unlock doors and provide the FBI access to every room, including the sumptuous Versailles Master Bedroom, renovated by Melania two years ago.

Another group of agents, including a professional safe cracker, moved to a separate part of the enormous 1924 Spanish stucco building to search Trump’s office and safe.

The demeanor of the three DOJ lawyers who accompanied the FBI was described by one eyewitness as “arrogant,” and they repeatedly told Trump representatives: “We have full access to everything. We can go everywhere.”

Despite the sweltering 91 degrees temperature Monday, Trump’s lawyers were forbidden by the feds to shelter inside the cool lobby, or to observe the search in any way, but were left outside in the baking sun near a parking lot.

The feds instructed Trump’s representatives to switch off the security cameras but they refused.
