Sir.

No, he would be on the Chicago Police Department and you would say he was a racist cop.

I support police training. Like don't put your fucking knee on a guy's neck for 8 minutes. Police have a tough job though. So many situations and things can escalate fast. Someone on drugs can just take the tazing. Nobody wants to get bitten by someone they are trying to arrest.

They don't instruct that tactic in Police Training. So you're just running your head for nothing.

I never said you were evil, and I am not sinister either. The talk about Police reform is about race. How Police should interact with the African American Community. I never said I was against that. Police in large Departments do have Race Relation Training. There is also Public Safety Accreditation programs where Departments that wish to be accredited must meet 207 standards by CALEA ( Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies) and you can bet that Race Relations is part of the program. So "Police Reform" is just a phrase that is being loosely used.

Loosely used and misunderstood. I support police reform because I am not evil. The accepted practice of the Police (pronoun) hiding behind qualified immunity is an evil one. Police reform is about community intervention and prevention. Not reaction.
Do you support police reform? In what form? I'd have to look back at my posts, but I (think I) posted Sotomayor's dissent on the court not facing the issue of qualified immunity. Closed the post, as I remember, with the public shame bell. Sir.
So . . . what makes you think you can tell me what I think? Is it a Christian authoritarian thing? You're always right, and I need to be conditioned?

Yes I support "Police Reform" if it involves training to better equip Police Departments to better serve the community in all areas not just race and that is the idea of Accreditation which is constantly being updated and Accredited Departments are evaluated yearly. I am not in support of defunding of Police that is counter productive to the safety and well being of the Community. You mentioned community Intervention and Prevention, that's proactive Policing. Reactive Policing is when an Officer receives a call over the radio or he witnesses a crime in progress. Officers engage in both Proactive and Reactive Policing. Some Departments are better in the area of Proactive Policing than others. Proactive Police Work is sometimes referred to as "Community Policing" So as far as Police Reform it already exists. It affords a better relationship between the Police and the Community and Police Accountability. No doubt tragedies will happen and Police Departments have the burden of dealing with the accountability of an Officer's actions but that's the exception rather than the norm.
