So the site has an option for a paid service. Choose that and you don't have to write reviews if you don't want to and still keep premium access. I guess the OP doesn't consider that a contribution. Damn good thing he isn't in charge of shit.

We just get side tracked with home work, term papers,having to run up to the SMU driving range to hit balls, swim laps, hit with my tennis coach, work out ,be on the friggin boulevard tailgating, and to top it all off, trying to get laid(hopefully for free),plan the next greek party(see the press this week-lol-whoopsie), and ultimately graduate and get a job as a pimp. You did not get my point, perhaps reread what I posted in the OP. I am not saying guys that do not write reviews are all trolls, per se. If you are side tracked with all the things you mentioned, then you do not have time to come on here and multiple times a day, spew negativity, have others hone in on your agenda on an SHMB and take personal shots at other members because that is what they call fun.

It looks as tho there are at least a couple on this thread who are the subject of the point I was making starting this thread--has multiple posts a day, most of which are negative, agenda laden posts, often times, quoting a post by a member he is cyberstalking and hijacking threads to either promote that agenda or their their type of fun is talking condescendingly to and about others on a whore board, and of course, has not posted a review in over 6 months on a review board. I don't hobby nearly as much as I used to fir a variety of reasons, mostly civil relationships. Plus, the majority of my hobbying occurs overseas now.

unless the people that just whine day in and day out can get "baby" under their name too.

what you should do is block them when they get to the point of annoying you enough that it makes your day sad. you should also go back and make sure that you dont troll...

because a troll who posts reviews is no less annoying then a troll who doesn't post reviews.

That is true, but it also depends on what whining is and your definition of what a troll is.

IMO, both are someone who spews negativity on a constant basis. While the whiner can't get his/her way and pouts about it on a whore board. There is a big difference in having an adult discussion with others whom you disagree with and telling people they are wrong, calling them names if they do not have your opinion. In addition, a member who bitches and moans about other members and even makes up shit to appease that agenda is a whiner as well.

A troll is someone who, on a continuous basis, tries to promote their ill will towards another member(s), talks down condescendingly to others with their keyboard warrior mentality and tries to bait others to reply to their posts, trying to start a pissing contest, usually after a personal attack from left field, all the while in just about every scenario, hijacking threads in the process. They do so because they are miserable people, probably in RL as well, and misery loves company.

When a guy does reviews, maybe one every few months or so, at least he is contributing to what this board is about. Without reviews, this board would be nothing. But, even if a guy is a reviewer and is an asshat on the board, he is a better member of a review board (although not by much), then one who does not review and is the same type of ass. Many members on this site who have no reviews at all and even if he pays for premium access and does not review, if he constantly badgering others, trying to critique other reviewers on their review or is just an asshole on just about every thread he posts on, that is a troll.
