I wouldn't take his words as exact meaning . I imagine he meant not to treat or expect escorts to treat you the same as a civie date . Not to put words in his mouth , but that was the meaning I got from it .

Point taken, sir. I was completely ruling out the topic of civilian dating in my posts, and only thinking from the provider aspect of this thread.

God knows Ive fallen in and out of love a million times in civie world. Hobby world and Civie World, never the two shall meet.

Reincarnated, you're the ONLY one who knows yourself the best. This is one tough question...as everyone and their unique situation is so diverse. I think acting on your gut instinct and listening to the voice inside your head...that would be a good start.

If, on the other hand, you're a hopeless romantic...then, be willing to accept the inevitable ending, and learn to ENJOY the ride. Life's too short...at least you can savor the great memories.

Think about the stuff in the movies about "love at first sight." Unfortunately, I think it does sometimes happen. Even if it's obviously the wrong woman (or man). Even if the other person doesn't love you. Also "love at 127th sight."

Sometimes the logical part of your brain simply isn't in charge. The instinct to reproduce is a very powerful influence deeply programmed into our genes, our brains, and our being. It's sometimes like a powerful computer virus that overrides our thinking and emotions and accidentally wreaks havoc in our lives and that of those around us.

We can try to do some things to minimize the impact, but the emotional time bomb is always buried down inside.

How to avoid it? I'm not sure. I think sometimes the time bomb goes off no matter what you do. Pleasurable and intimate activities do affect your brain chemically and short circuit your logic.

Think about it. If you had to break it off with a lady, would you have a big emotional hole in your soul, or are you unhappy because you're missing a good fuck? Is it like losing a family member, a beloved pet, or like losing that guy who gave you that really great non-sexual massage that left you floating in relaxation for the rest of the day? If you found another lady who gave you the same quality of service, would you find yourself pining for lady number 1?

If you found another lady with the same quality level of service, but a lower rate, would you switch?

I don't always take my own advice and have been guilty of doing a few things I preach against........ then again... I believe myself more practical and better balanced than others.....
