When I first saw your headline, my first thought was was " Yes jail every single person that crossed our border illegally". For a minute there, I thought Abbott was going to do that but he declined to do so for some reason.


Oh and in case you haven't noticed, every single state "controls" to some degree what women can and can't do with their own bodies. They can't make a legal income from "their bodies" if they want. They can't sell a kidney if they want.


The good news is, women have more rights in this country than in most if not all other countries.


You have choices in America, 50 to be exact. Just the way I like it.


Let me add though that I think the part of the law that would allow a third party to sue and benefit from reporting a woman that has an abortion is antithetical to this country. I completely oppose that portion of the law and if the whole law must be struck down because of that clause, so be it.

Even with as crazy as the TX Legislature has acted over this past session, I will still take them over any of the current "blue monolith" states, any day.
