The best government is that which governs least. It is a necessary evil, but has been allowed to grow out of control and effects nearly everything we do everyday. The Military
Education Grants
State Grants of all kinds
Disaster assistance and relief
The list goes on and is too long to list.
WWII would have ended up very differently without a Strong Federal government.
