LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The letter Ray Brundige received from Humana spelled out two options — keep his health insurance policy for one more year for a $279 monthly premium or choose a new one that complies with the Affordable Care Act and pay a whopping $619 a month.

Only a family of 4 that makes less than 20,000 will qualify for Medicaid, which is free. To get the least expensive plan from the government exchange, you have to purchase a policy and pay a premium. A subsidy will be given to families of 4 that make less than $80,000. The closer you are to $80,000 the lower the subsidy. Under the current system unhealthy people can not get health insurance on their own( pre-existing conditions), unless you can get it where you work under your company's group plan with the insurer. Unhealthy people need health insurance too.

Trader Joe's is a good company and a good corporate citizen. If all companies were like Trader Joe's you would not have 50 million people walking around with no health insurance. The purpose of Obamacare is to try and insure the most of these uninsured people. Insurance companies do not like to insure unhealthy people. Why do you think health insurance companies like United Health Care and Aetna are not offering health insurance through the government exchanges. They don't want to take the risk of insuring unhealthy people, despite the fact that millions are expected to sign up at the government exchanges and pay premiums.

When you say blinded you certainly were not talking about "loss of eyesight". You blamed Ron Paul's loss to Mitt in the republican primaries to the MEDIA.
