Has the court ever changed it's mind? Haven't many people in the history of our legal system, known better than the court? The fact is, there have been people who knew better than the courts ruling at the time. People knew that deciding that Blacks are only 3/5ths of a person, was a wrong decision. People knew that separate but equal was the wrong decision and they said so and the court changed it's decision.


I'm not saying BC is right. I'm saying that the court has admitted on quite a few occasions now, that it was wrong. Maybe, just maybe BC is right.


What I find amazing, is that a young person ( I guess would be how you describe yourself ) is unaware of this.


There have been plenty of people who knew better than the court. A historical fact.


One would have to be deaf, dumb and blind to not see what is happening on the issue of free speech.


Very soon now, the SC will decide whether in this new age, a monopoly, actually a couple of monopolies can conspire to limit free speech just because they are a private business.


I'm reminded of Barack Obama saying "you didn't build that". I think in the very near future, the SC will decide that this idea, that these new private monopolies that control much of the speech we count on, can discriminate against one party, one ideology over another. Then again, I could be wrong and free speech will indeed be dead in this country and only one party can speak the truth, the way some people actually want it to be.


The Ministry of Truth doesn't seem so far off any more.
