I don't think it matters what DEMOCRATS think, it's the Independents that will decide this election. Not saying McCauliff can't win because I have no way of knowing just how stupid these people can be. I think people like you keep forgetting that the biggest knock against Trump was his personality or lack there of. I think Biden won because of that, not because people didn't like Trump policies.
