Nope, they'll take a mile. Or more . . . Or, they'll just throw everything out the window, start over, and figure out how to ram fuck you with the Patriot Act.

I must say this much, this is an illegal activity that people constantly bitch about LE doing their job. If you don't want to deal with LE or the fact that they do have a job to do, then stop hobbying or stick with one or two ladies you know are safe. We all know the risks, but yet very few seem to understand that LE is just doing the job they signed up.
Or would you prefer LE don't do their job at?

You're right Elena but with all the things that really need to be addressed and worked on, some guy getting laid should not be a priority. The only reason LE bothers is because its an easy bust and the chances of them getting shot at are pretty low. LE around here is terrible. They barely look into real crimes. I have a few cop friends and they brag about how little work they do and how they drive drunk all the time and never get a ticket. They're the worst gang out there.

I have a couple friends that are cops, but I don't know what they do with their time. I won't bad mouth LE, makes for an easy target.
They have a job to do, its the higher ups who determine when and where they do stings. This hobby is an easy target for them and its easy money for the city. You're right though, there are other crimes out there that are worse than the hobby, but if the public was that upset with how things are ran, I'd imagine more people would be speaking out to the city council/mayor, etc.

Not to bad mouth LE, but as a concerned citizen they could be doing a better job at their job. As a citizen I think they should go after red light runners more often than those with expired plates. Drunk drivers are worse than pot smokers in my opinion. Violence against others should be at the absolute top priority over any crime. They should concentrate their efforts in Omaha so we are not comparing violent crime rates to Detroit in the news. Then maybe tackle the drunk driving issue since that kills to many people in my opinion. Once the Utopia foundation of needless bodily injury or death is laid, finish the project then with the morality of the citizenry.

JJ,
I'm right there with you on drunk drivers. I've lost two family members to drunk drivers and I donate/volunteer whatever I can to help.
As I said earlier, if more people would speak up to their city councilman/woman and/or mayors office, then maybe something would be done to get LE to go after more violent crimes.

Not to say that drunk driving isn't a problem, but I don't think it is near the problem that people think it is. I used to drive semi-truck regionally, and there are a lot of stupid drivers out there. The biggest problem is people not paying attention to their driving, and forcing their right of way. They forget the number 1 rule when at a red light, that is when in it turns green, you have to wait for the intersection to clear before entering, not starting off like you are on a drag strip.
I will also disagree about pot smoking, people under the influence of drugs are just as bad or worse than drunk drivers on the road, it is just easier to prosecute for DUI because of blood alcohol content in statutes.

Agree with you 100% that it's not the individual cop. They are just doing their job. The problem lies that prostitution in itself is not a crime! The only people that think it is a crime are the puritans who don't like it and think everyone should be like them and they twist the laws to get their way. Unfortunately, things that go along with street level or uncontrolled prostitution has a huge crime element. That being the drugs, trafficking and the bullshit that goes along with pimping.
Two consenting adults engaging in prostitution is not a crime. The real crime is when someone forces their beliefs upon you and uses the government through unconstitutional laws to force you into living under their code. To me, that is about as unamerican as it can get. If everyone would just worry about their own lives and mind their own business, this country would be such a better place to live. If you don't like prostitution, don't go to a brothel, but don't tell me that I can't. Each and every day I think Germany with legalized prostitution would be such a better place to live.

farmstud I do not smoke pot but have grown up with family members and friends that have. How many time have you seen people get drunk, throw up, fall down hurt themselves, get loud and obnoxious, sometimes even mean/violent? How many pot smokers have you been around? I would rather be in a room of a 100 people stoned on pot than in one with only one drunk person. granted I can see in the context of my comment one can assume I was referring to the stoned person driving, but I wasn't. Alcohol is legal and I say keep them of the fin road. If pot was legal I would say keep them of the fin road. The guy at home smoking pot is far less dangerous than the drunk on the road. For that matter he less than dangerous than any idiot talking on their cell while driving. I also agree with you on drivers not paying attention. I look back on how easy it was to get my license and say I should have never been allowed on the road. If it was that easy for me, that explains why I pass an accident on my way home almost every day.
