I used to work as a bouncer I can really tell the misfits, creeps, disgusting old men who would try to go into clubs/bars downtown alone. Just had to respectfully make them feel Very Unwelcome until they leave.

This is not a personal judgement on anyone just saying as a general FYI of the social morays of the world as it is.

I spend a lot of time on this site because I volunteered to be a moderator here.

I'm not going to get into an argument on my weight, age, or ability to blend into social settings. I'm *especially* not going to get into an argument about my social or professional life outside this board, for hopefully very obvious reasons.

I will just say that when you make wild assumptions about whether someone is a "misfit, creep, or disgusting old man" based on postings on a message board, you... well... make some wild assumptions.

And if you make me very unwelcome in your day job, well, that's entirely your choice. I'll have to see what that's like sometime!

FWIW, I've spent literally countless hours in the last six months or so with Vyt and we routinely go to quite nice places where he fits in just fine. He's well liked by pretty much everyone and gets along well with people from all kinds of backgrounds.

I'm not sure why you are even so interested in the financial and social status of male members here...that seems really "creepy" itself.

Trulucks has a great broiled steak, have not tried Vince Young's but have eaten at Churassco's, Fago de Chao and Texas De Brazil where the meat is very tender. If you go to Houston try the Strip House the specialy is a broiled NY Strip that is Awesome.

Also I don't think any resturant cares about how you look as long as you are paying $$ and acting civil.

Hmmm, one here in Austin that is oft overlooked is Austin Land and Cattle on Lamar. Others that I enjoy are Eddie V's, Perry's, Steiner Ranch Steak House, and of course, Sullivan's.
