Ghirardelli Squares...there's something erotic the way they open up and flow after you bite into one of 'em.

Great flavors too.

And just good ole' chocolate....a Hershey's Kiss or a Hershey's Nugget. That old chocolatier from Pa. knew what he was doing.

I have become a chocolate snob and cannot stand American chocolate after spending time in Germany. Milka or Kinder chocolates are my favorite. Try Kinder Happy Hippos, more hazelnut than chocolate, but to die for!!!

A few years ago, Backpacker magazine did a research study on all the different power bars out there to determine the best bang for the buck. They also threw in the Snickers bar, and it won. Ever since I always have a pack of them within reach to give the that little pick me up to get me through the day. Hardest part while in the "stan(s) was the heat. Just wish they handle that better, LOL.

Also have to give a 5* to the Lindt milk chocolate squares that I only find overseas or Canada but those little 1" by 2mm slivers are awesome. (I still have six boxes from my last trip and hope to restock soon).

I make toffee turtles to give to friends at Christmas. Simple but very good. Frozen Milky Ways are good too.

I understand... there is sooo much wax in mainstream chocolate. That's why my favorite bars are Skor or Heath. Both of these have a ton of flavor that doesn't depend on the chocolate to pull it off.

If you can find Neuhaus, spoil yourself and get some. I guarantee you'll have a mouth orgasm.

When I lived in Germany years ago....and a lot of pounds lighter, lol, I loved Kinder Eggs so much! They are hollow Chocolate eggs with toys inside! I used the excuse that I was collecting the toys for my son who was born there..lol... yeah right!

Well I have tried American and German chocolate and give both their props but being born in Scotland and pretty much raised there I have to go with British candy taking the prize with my favorite being the Yorkie

Ahhh candy!!

I love the Ritter Sport bars, particularly the milk chocolate one.
I love the Aero and Cadbury Flake bars as well. Got hooked on another thing when in England and I cannot remember the name. Its a chocolate egg of sorts and it comes with a tiny little spoon (not quite liquid center, but soft enough to require the spoon).

As far as easily and readily available in America-- I can usually find my Ritter in Wal-Mart--- if not, I have a friend who can get them on the Commissary at Ft. Hood. I also enjoy Toblerone.

Now-- as to my fave. I love my own. I am a hell of a candy maker. As to store bought? I love the Rafaelo coconut things with the milk creme and almonds inside.

Lol-- now you all know why I am not a spinner!!

You can get Aero in some of the Kroger stores in the International section.

It's confession time - I am currently into Godiva chocolates. And they have this club which entitles you to discounts and 1 free piece (of chocolate, that is) each month. Just go into the store, pick out your piece, show your card, and enjoy. (Now that sounds like the premise for one hell of a fun business - but I digress) My favorite has actually become the Godiva 60%, 70%, and up to 85% chocolate bars. And "they" say that the higher percentage of chocolate is actually good for your arteries and veins - very important to keep we old guys in the hobby game, you know!

I do enjoy a good piece.

Whatever happened to Marathon bars? Those were awesome. I love Skor, Heath and just regular old Hershey's as well, but the other day I had a Godiva Milk Chocolate with Salted Caramel. That's my new fav. No, I don't eat them every day. (just every other...)
