Make no mistake... so are the Democrats. They were squawking just as loudly that Obama had time left in office and was "owed" a vote on Garland. Much like the Republican tune has changed... so has the Democrat tune.

Can anyone understand that the republicans held the senate in 2016 and the votes were not there to confirm Garland. Harry Reid is the one who changed the rules of the senate and produced so much bad blood regarding judges. Mitch M. sure could have had held hearings and a vote that we all know would have gone down as Garland NOT being confirmed. Why even start the process if it is a failure from the start. Isn't this pretty consistent with the workings of both the house and senate if votes are not there for passing what they are proposing?
With what has occurred over the past 4 years regarding democrat behavior, prime example Kavanaugh, they get what they deserve. To drive the point home, Mitt Romney is for moving forward. This says a lot as we all know he would love nothing more than to screw Trump.
All we hear now is threats on democracy from the democrats. Irregardless of your affiliation, understand that our leaders are willing to tear it all down for vengeance. They could give a shit about the American public and that's why I vote like I do.

Can anyone understand that the issue isn't about whether the Senate has the power, control, votes, or whatever... its the mountain of quotes they all made in regards to WHY they wouldn't bring Garland to the floor for a vote.
I think everyone gets the basic aspect of how it works. What's being pointed out is the utter hypocrisy (on both sides).
I'll give Trump credit for one thing. He is doing an excellent job in showing the world just how ignorant American voters are as a whole.... once again, on both sides.

Indeed, and the similarity doesn't stop there.
Bathe your tongue in the succulent taste and texture, of both the Reeses Peanut Butter Cup, and The Pregnant Black Woman's breasts, and you're left with slight indigestion, and wondering, ''should I have consumed this''?
That question resolves itself, quickly. Because you can't wait for your next opportunity to peel off the wrapper on a peanut butter cup, and the clothes off the next black Chick you see, who is ''with child''.

the parties that had the potus and senate were opposite. They aren’t now. When parties were opposite confirmation has happened 2 out of 19 times. When they were the same 17/19.
There’s no hypocrisy involved.

Thank you, Garland was not going to be confirmed so why go through with the process. Plain and simple would have been a waste of time.

Why? So Senators are on the record.
It's bad enough McConnell allows voice votes, but most of his agenda is no votes. The Republicans already waste time doing nothing.

Pc culture is failing. Americans are fed up with these riots and the agendas behind them! Today was a great day! No charges against the Officers in louisville. The people are "woke"! "Woke" to the socialist and bigotry the left is promoting!

Well.. one officer did get charged with 3 counts of Wanton Endangerment.... so there weren't "no charges". Just none in direct response to Ms. Taylor.
And I live in Ohio-- nobody, and I mean NOBODY, is going to refer to the folks in Kentucky as "woke".

You go through it because that is the proper procedure. Don't have the votes, than it is behind us and not being used as an example of the current hypocrisy. This is America, even a SCOTUS contender deserves his day.

The Party of No is holding onto its title. And they say the demos don't do anything. The repubs are the shining example of this. Mainly mitch. Anyone count how many Bills from the House are on his desk that he's ignored? And the better part of a year doing nothing with the last nominee for the Court.

I usually take no joy in any one's death* but at least for a day or two there was no covid hysteria.
* I was pleased as ever in my life when one of my Navy colleagues put a couple into Osama bin-laden.

Grace I might be in love lol.
The law And constitution are clear As is the hypocrisy. Why is it when they are on the short end of the stick it’s about what’s good for America but now it’s not ? Trump may very well win and then it will be a moot point . It’s amazing to me how much shit is on video but we still somehow have to argue about what is the truth LMFAO !

All I'm hoping for is a landslide win by one of the parties. Anything else will continue the hysteria coming from both about the treason and evil deeds of the others.
We are being fomented by social media, only interested in clicks. Clicks = revenue and the best way to get people clicking is to outrage them. Outside interference? Possibly, but certainly it is the power of the media outlets - shifted now to IG, Twitter, FB and the other platforms enjoying the cash flowing in from our fears.
The enemy is us.
